Reading that one confirmed my opinion: PD should have a nice variety of all different musics in GT6 (as Rockstar made for San Andreas where Running Down A Dream is possibly my favorite soundtrack). Other than that they should still have the personal bgm function

San Andreas has quite possibly the best & most diverse soundtrack in a videogame.
 
Well, I started this thread a while back. I think most of the songs in it would be good.

If you don't want to read (and I don't blame you), I want everything from Rush, and a few of Guns n' Roses greatest hits.
 
More original songs for the menu, composed by Isamu Ohira (the guy/girl who made all the music for gt1-4).

That gt3 intro brought tears to my eyes... I'm so sad crying over a game. What have I done with my life :lol:

2nd Edit: Oh god, just rewatched the GT3 Intro for the first time for nearly 10 years. Wow, if it weren't for that intro, that song and that game I can't even imagine what I would be doing right now.... I certainly wouldn't be typing nostalgicly while my GT5 equipped PS3 and G25 sit idle-ly by, but then- I'm perfectly happy with that eventuality. The change one little thing can make to a life is simply amazing :cool:

That's actually in my custom BGM! 👍

However, i turned off all music during racing, because the best soundtrack to me is a rumbling V8, a screaming V10, or the blow off valve from a turbo'd V6.

I said that as hypocrite since I too leave background music off while racing. :dopey: That being said, I very much enjoy GT5’s music selection. Mind you, I normally listen to dubstep and minimal electronic music.

I seem to be the only one who enjoys the jazz(and some of the lounge/bossanova) selection in GT5. Outside of that, there isn't too much of the soundtrack I can confidently say I enjoy. some of the pieces in there are simply genius though.
 
Moon Over The Castle should be the intro song for ALL regions, not just Japan. As for BGM, some smooth jazz will do :cool:
