Just in time apparently.

I update The Spirit of Racing (Link is in my signature).

This update has final version of qualifying. How does it work? When you create a season, you "edit season" and fill out the driver names, cars/teams, and tracks. At the bottom you can select the race type, including multi-class racing which handles two different classes and tracks their points separately.

Start off by going to career and choosing your team/driver. It is set up so you replace someone so you can reuse the same set up for different teams.

The qualifying is the most important feature (aside from points tally). The qualifying is based on the driver rating, the team tier (1 being best team), the previous race finishing position, and championship standings. Over the course of the season, the weighting shifts from finishing position toward championship position.

For those using Reggie, it give you a weather suggestion for the race as well.

I literally don't play the game anymore without using this.

It comes preloaded with F1 grids, but you can change it how you like. Note that is uses your browser memory for saves, so if you need to clear your browser, be sure to export a save first.

Have fun.,

Does anyone else find Custom Races with 2008 GT500s to be insanely difficult

I can barely win most of them and I have no chance of winning against them on Grand Valley (I can't get a fast enough exit out of the last chicane). With Montreal, I can only win if I set the Tyre wear high enough so the AI also have to change tyres on pit stops or risk slowing down heavily at the end due to tyre wear.

Group 3 cars can be a bit of a challenge in general but they are nothing compared 2008 GT500s for some reason. Not even the 2016 Super GTs are nearly as hard, I can comfortably win those without handicapping myself

(Context: I have my 2008 Super GT set up on roughly 10 Laps, with 10x Tyre Wear and Fuel Wear and I use the Honda NSX GT500)

I found that the general settings we all use are not one size fits all. Sometimes you have to turn off the boost. Also, I would drop the tire wear because it makes things more difficult for you.

I don't have Boost on. I don't like it as a mechanic in general, especially when I have races that require pit stops.

Only Custom Race I boost on is Lancer Evo vs. Impreza Group 3 custom race set up because I have NOS on the cars but the AI wont use thsm so Boost was my to simulate the AI using it.

I used the Sophy car cheat to make a 2026 GR3 event with the newest Porsche.

I made 9 teams with the newest cars. 740pp minimum and 750pp maximum. Then, for my team, I did the Sophy cheat. I used the Suzuki (geez I don't even remember the name...the cheap one). Now, my team made up of Oscar Piastri and me, are racing the '22 Porsche.

I don't understand why they are releasing the new cars without official support.

I haven't posted in years and thats because I went on to make more Custom Race set ups as well as improve the one I had already.

...and I just didn't stop until today nearly 2 years later

48 Championships, all using different cars, most I designed the liveries for (the exceptions are Freeze Breeze Cup, Formula Classic (based on F1 97) and All Japan GT Championship (the cars based on JGTC liveriss I ported over)), all grinded for

They are structured into Tiers like its own Career Mode, idea being kinda like TOCA Race Driver 1 where getting enough points take you to the next tier though in this case there the Tier+ Championships inbetween Tiers which are the "boss" Championships

I'll give them a much closer look gradually overtime but here is my entire list.
