Rotary Cappuccinos are a thing IRL. It's not that far fetched.

As for the VR38 question, put it and the UH turbo in the Delta. It's a rocket!

It is a bit odd having the Cappuccino take a 13B Swap. In terms of OEM engines, from the Swift Gr.4's engine would be equally as viable. And if PD wanted to be even more extreme, how about the Hayabusa V8 from the VGT Gr.3? 🤔 (That does exclude the insanity of having the Escudo's V6 in the Cappuccino though ).
Dude, a Cappuccino stretched and widened like Rob Dahm's FD RX-7 with either a twin turbo or supercharged Hayabua based V8 along with AWD is what my dreams are made of

@ProfDoobverk I certainly wouldn't say no to a Hayabusa swapped Cappuccino. Perhaps something like the old Z Cars Hayabusa Turbo swapped Cappo for example:

ZCarsCappuccino_02.jpg

A swap from just the normal Suzuki VGT would be neat, but given its a hybrid I'm not sure how/if that would work, given how engine swaps function.

(For reference, I don't think the 13B swap is bad for the Cappo at all, or unusual in the real world. Just a little odd in GT7 given the OEM stuff they could pick from Suzuki)

Hey Guys,

Couple questions today; just got some new stuff, including my 3rd Ultra Turbo, the 2nd for an engine swap. I already had an Ultra for the RX-7 which can go with the 13B into a the Cappuccino or the Eunos that I received some feedback from you all a while back.

I haven’t permanently kept either yet. The 787 engine would be my 2nd.

Here are the engines I’ve been holding on to

So I also have a 5 weight reduction for the RX-7, I know they don’t do that much.
If you had my list of engines, would you keep a 2nd 787B, one for RX-7 and another for RX-8 or would you hold it to roll again in April’s update?

Lastly, I’ve never actually fitted and Ultra before. It sounds like it would be cool to send with my VR38 into one of the swaps. Is that the case? If so, as of 1.31 which would be the best one for that combo?

About the 787B, when placed in the RX-8, it allows us to build an IMSA GT replica.

Served me well at WTC700 la Sarthe, due to its increased fuel saving. It’s a naturally aspirated engine so, to me, it fits perfect within the RX-8. Other players may prefer the RX-7, as it is the sportier of the rotary road cars. It‘s always up to the individual on how they play their game.

I've gotten a 3 star three days in a row now. I swear PD is downgrading daily tickets. Used to be "just missed that engine swap", now it's "haven't seen an engine swap even on the roulette for a week now".
Yeah, roulette has been **** for me and alot of friends as well.
Just let us LS/2j/rb swap everything at minimum!

Make each region happy with the mil of choice for their country!

At least the weather is clearing to enjoy some real swaps!

Could you share your suspension/differential tune for that car? And/or the FD RX7 if you have one of them swapped. I find the FD an absolutely nightmare to drive with the 4 rotor installed.

Finally got the Enzo in the F40 .
Nice 👌
Fun to tune but can't seem to get its braking sorted .
Handling no bother but getting it to stop ... eek

Heres my own personal engine swop

a modern tuned 1.6 turbo Ford ecoboost engine into my 1998 caterham ... 530kgs !

More bhp/tonn than a bugatti veyron

Under 3.0sec to 60mph

Traction and launch control.

Sounds a dream don't it ...

Well so far its a nightmare lol 5 weeks 6 brake downs 🙃 😅 alternator bust , fuel line bust , hose bust , gearbox went engine out job got it back 10 mins and it shredded its rear hub !!! Ffs

My advice .. gt7 is better lol 😆

Put them to use, one in each RX. The RX-7 is faster, the RX-8 handles better. Throw a nice livery onto each, like the green one for the RX-7 uploaded by one certain shadow460.

Very nice! I saw an 86 F-150 with a 350 Oldsmobile petrol engine swap. It was a beast at 175HP. The owner said he had to do some cutting and welding to make it all work.

Anyone got a Rampage-swapped 240ZG? I need to know just how insanely fast it is in a straight line. Can it compete with the DeLorean? Or is it even quicker, on par with the Silvias?

My stable of RX-8s are long gone. This was the set ups for Tokyo. Adding RH and increasing horsepower for the 700PP race is all that needed.
Im a Mazda head as well. These are my winning set ups. I haven’t tried a normal Renesis RX-8, yet. I’m in the process of building RX8 Cup cars. It’s not fast on the straights, but Of course fuel is not an issue with the RX-878B.
RX-V is nice overall. Been a while since I ran either at this track(I mainly use them at La Sarthe). Swear I posted pics in this thread.

Edit: I just I’d a race. Messed up my fill by One Lap. Had to pit again on Lap 11. Still had a buffer for the win. Easy to drive even on evenly half worn tyres f/r.

Edit2: Gallo nearly pitting me into the wall, before the line.

I would guess the car should be amazing based on how good it is with original engine
It can do 10.3-10.4 at 1/4m with 400hp so I’m sure it will do 8s with Rampage

Wow, awesome car! You drive it on the track only or on the road? I am also thinking on buying one. That, or a Donkervoort. How did your get the idea to do the swap? I understand they are also around with Cossworth engines, but not heard of this. Do you have any tips for me when checking them out?

I guess the world is going to implode, i just got an 6 star engine roulette from daily milleage...
Got the escudo engine. Not what i wanted but first new engine i got in many many moons!
I have a feeling and it probably isnt true, but near the end of an month i feel like the rewards are better, and then new patch drops and everything resets again and its crap.
What i said probably just coincidence.

As you'll be aware by now, GT7 has engine swaps! Yay! 🎉

The mechanism seems to entirely luck-based, so in these early stages we don't know what engines are available and what cars they fit in. I've created this thread so that the cloud-computing-mind of GTPlanet can do what it does best: assemble a complete list.

Here's all the ones we know so far (with the Porsche M96/76 only seen in trailers and not the game thus far). Please add any others you find in the comments below - note the original brand, the name of the engine, and any eligible cars - with some picture evidence, please!

There'll be a new content update later this week which may add more swaps.
