MK1 TT with the quattro I5 is an absolute blast, and now a viable WTC700pp weapon.

Chassis is more than capable of handling the extra power, that soundtrack just adds to it.

Also means my TT LM replica can get closer in specs at least to the original.

I would guess it'll be a bit complicated since there is a large amount of cars with engine swaps far beyond their chassis can handle as is much less cope with full go fast parts. Except for the racing engines, most of the road engine swaps are ridiculously overpowered and a handful to properly tame. But that's just my opinion; it'll be curious as to how they implement it, IF they do something like this in the future.
 
So...after swapping the RAV4 Adventure with the Demon engine.....it's entirely undriveable fully upgraded. It doesn't turn and it feels like it wants to wheelie without me touching the tuning.

I was running this guys RAV4 tune pre-swap, he just dropped the revised version for the swap. 👍

Might not be fully to your liking, but it’ll make it less of a deathtrap at the very least. :lol:
 
The RAV4 swap is hilariously overpowered for the PP value, mine is sitting at 655 PP fully tuned on RH and can win WTC 800 races. WTC 700 at Le Mans it'll run under 3:50 without any trouble while saving a ton of fuel to do 3 laps, won by nearly 3 minutes. Detuned to 500 hp on road tyres also works nicely, makes for a really fun off road option too. Also tried out the Audi TTS '09 swap and it's also very good, pretty much in line with the other Gr.B swaps. Not sure how good the fuel usage would be at Tokyo for WTC 600, swapped in the stock car is just under the PP limit so I'd assume it might be a good option there too.

The Clubman+ race at Route X is close. I don’t think I’ve won that in a non-swapped car.

Events could work if we have the option of using pre-tuned rental cars, and the events are centered on a specific engine or car, like all the Chiron swaps at Rt.X, or Bug swaps at Nurburgring, etc.

Clubman cup plus 600 pp have swapped cars as the opponents in case you don't know. There is toyota crown with gt500 engine and honda s660 with motogp engine

Swapping the GT-R engine into the Espace F1 is broken. Even with a racing transmission it accelerates quickly, but doesn't get above 135mph. OR 125mph with a racing transmission. So, this swap is currently broken, unless I'm missing something. Could make for a fun Gr.4 competitor if not for this.

The gears are shorter at the same ratios, because you're running an engine with a redline of ~ 8,000 in a car that was geared for 14,000 rpm redline.
In your Car Settings, try adjusting your Auto-Set setting under Transmission to lengthen the gears. That setting is available with the racing transmission.

The 550pp Clubman races also have swapped cars - the Porsche Bugs mentioned above as well as 787b RX-7s and a rotary Miata. The K20 Beat makes a surprise appearance at High Speed Ring and Tsukuba fitted with illegal tires. Don't worry, it's utterly hopeless.

The 600pp event at Watkins Glen has the 1932 Ford Roadster with Ford GT Gr.3 V8. Often it emerges as race leader.

The 700pp Clubman event at Fuji has a V8 Silvia. That one you need to worry about.

Took me a while to realize this, but I suspected the Quattro Pikes Peak swap for the 8J TTS may be a reference to the TT RS since both are inline-5s, although the displacement is lower (2.1 on Quattro vs 2.5 on the TT RS).

EDIT: Probably a stretch - the Mk2 TT RS only made 355 HP compared to Quattro PP's 550.

Hmmm that picked my interest.
I did bought and engine swapped the RAV4, added all the racing gizmos (MINUS THE ENGINE), weight improvements, roll cage, structural improvements, racing suspension brakes yadda yadda.
IMHO its not undriveable, not at all.
If I member correctly:
I did some minor touches to the suspension, like the dampeners 25/45, the frequency... errr... .10 from the max, cambers 1.5 / 2.0, everythiong else, same ad the default suspension.
The torque distribution 30:70, as 4WD chews on front tyres, brake balance 1 towards the rear
The Fully custom gearbox, just pulled the final to 2.500, quick and dirty.
NO ADDITIONAL ENGINE POWER UPS.
Tested in Circuit La Sarhe (need that dollah dollah back).
Full FM6 gives you 2 full laps, pedal to the metal, 46% consumption per lap. rained a little, so no tyre compound changes, nor tyre changes required. Won with 50 seconds advantage. If anything it reminded me that camaro race mod car, powerful, heavy, 2 laps on Circuit La Sarthe per tank, BUT, you dont need more, the speed well makes up for the extra fuel consumption.
Obviously, my "mod" is far from perfect, I just made changes until I felt It was Le Mans "ready" to test this claim.

OH I like JohnnySDVR tunes very much, I havent checked his yet, but... even with the frequency almost at the max, in my quick mod the cart still felt wobbly, too wobbly, I didnt checked for turning stability extensively as I was driving this fast but chonky boi with care on the curves to save tyre wear, but I dare say, in this case, the frequency range provided to us is not enough, but then again, my mod was put together in like 30 minutes so take my words with a couple grains of salt.
