I also hope they improved something in the Sport mode , like better visible DR / SR in our dashboard

Nobody truly knows. At least for the cars destined for Hagerty's, Nenkai will probably have that info between the time the update is released and the time the servers come back online. Otherwise, we'll all find out together once the servers are back online tomorrow.

That being said it would be nice to have a couple more songs on the main map when you use Broadcast mode. It'd be nice if they can throw some more in from GT5/6.

I wish they would change the payouts, depending on difficulty... that would add some replay value, give yourself a bit of a challenge too. The way it is currently, you only replay because of the grind and upping the difficulty only has downsides for you. More effort, same old payout and possibly even a loss (if you don't end up 1st)

PD dont even use their own dirt tracks in the game for more than 0.01% of events, why add a snow track.

Because snow is cool? Because it opens up a lot of gameplay possibilities now that 250+ cars can be tested and raced on three different snow layouts?

The update will likely add more permanent and/or rotating events for the dirt tracks, too. Maybe Sophy can give us a tough enough challenge at Fisherman's Ranch.
 
Different folks different strokes.

The track is certainly what I care the least about in this update which is a huge bummer.

I’m of the opinion that rally can go entirely.
Other games have it covered and are frankly a lot better at it.

Anyway, back to the IMPORTANT stuff:
Will we get a new dashboard icon tomorrow?

Did we get one for GT Sport or just a new splash screen? Can’t remember.

For some reason the idea of a new icon excites me 🤷‍♂️
Time to go to bed I guess.
 
Now i wonder is there a chance for early December update or not? Even the smaller one. This update is just so huge and great that I wonder is this the end of 2023 updates.

You get a bonus for your Collector Level and your Circuit Experience completion, it seems.

It'll be interesting to see if this applies only to quick races, or across the economy (like the PP/login bonuses from previous games) - could have a massive effect on the in-game economy

I never realized this either. I received it fro purchasing the 25th anniversary version. I never viewed the car in the dealer :lol:
 
Not that I'm not looking forward to the update, I am. But just had a thought. If they have released a snow/winter circuit in November, I wonder if there will even be an update for December. At the very least if there is, I'd doubt it would have another new circuit, as surely you'd save the snow track for December.

I'm definitely thinking too far ahead with that lol. The update should be quite cool. Something that intrigues me is that WTC 900 is now a thing, which are most likely Gr.2 events

I don't think Snow really changes anything about the game. GT does off-road events badly, it isnt rally, it isnt rallycross, it isn't ice racing, the grip physics and soft barrier mechanics suck.

Online has been stale for ages and frankly I think they're better off giving us a new track that they can use across online and offline for multiple different categories rather than a snow layout, which they've never used widely in any GT game.
