I do have concerns.

I'm kinda worried they're going to decrease the payouts for the big 4 races and increasing the legend cars prices even more.

Hopefully it's just in my head.

It's been a long day at work, lots of unnecessary poo poo situation at work, mixed with the exciting 1.40 news, I tried to fit in here and there throughout the day, seconds of checking the news on GTP.

When I quickly read yours, I just agreed with you and would hate the scenario you described to be true, so my knee jerk reaction, before moving on to my actual poopoo work, not to you, but rather at the described theoretical situation, I would also poo at that...

So the poo wasn't directed at you.

At the same time, rather than being positive, I just didn't know/understand why you had to interject negative thoughts on this day of good news. I know you have concerns, but just enjoy the ride... Don't be throwing poo too ;)

Don't clutter your head with poo ;)

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm insanely hyped for this update surprisingly but maybe I'm just trying to keep myself from expecting too much lol

Either way it's all good.
 
Looking forward to trying the new content. I still wish that GT Sophy was a selectable opponent in the World Circuit events, as oppose to just Quick Race - at least that's what their wording suggested.

I hope the expert race in the Weekly Races is akin to the Chilli races, the AI actually put up a fight in those

Oh nice. Looks like the payout increase also applies to Custom Races. If the new payouts are reasonable, it could alleviate one of the biggest pain points of the singleplayer experience.

Now if we also get better AI (or even a full Sophy integration in Custom Races at some point)...
 
For some reason the RB X2019 Anniversary Edition does not count towards the Red Bull X menu book completion.

That, and all the cars available as rental cars in Quick Race, Time Trial, Drift Trial and Custom Races (even including split-screen).

I just hope those rewards will be at least on par with World Circuit events :)

The weekly challenges are not challenging at all.

Sophy is super fast on the first lap, but seems to be slowing down significantly on lap 2 and unfortunately doesn’t seem to be driving at full throttle on straights :(
 
I absolutely love the Event Directory feature, finally, the races can be sorted into the traditional layout that lets you follow a series.

And mmmm! Feels good to flick the Alpine A110 around on snow again, after seeing it in the GT Sport intro for so long.
 
I don't have a ps+ subscription, but i'm interested in paddock mode, can anyone tell me how it works?
 
The new clubman plus event at Fuji is memes. These cars do be quick.
