I raced all the group 1 and 2 cars on the 24h nordschleife layout in a 2 lap, same car custom race with 30x times.
The day to night transition looked awesome and the races were fun :D

Just as an observation, not really worthy of its own thread but apologies if it’s in the wrong place: I was letting the ‘scapes’ thing in the garage run earlier while i was eating - not properly looked at it before now - and I noticed a couple of the locations looked a hell of a lot like they could be modern versions of Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfi from GT4. It reeeeally made me pine for a revisit to those tracks with today’s (almost) photo realistic graphics and the old beauties in the LCD.

Also noted was how my avatar guy looked kind of weird taking a leisurely drive in a Eunos Roadster with the top down along a Mediterranean coastline wearing full racing suit and crash helmet

I'm 99% sure there are some scapes set in the same city as Citta di Aria, if not on the same roads. This is the case for a few old city circuits, Tokyo R246 being a notable one.

Heh, I didn’t know it was a real place!

I have been doing the weekly challenges and I always ending doing extra races because I don't pay attention. For people like me that don't pay attention they should take you back to the weekly challenge menu instead of making you click on the green thing. I know I can just pay attention to what I'm clicking on but that is too much work. 🤣 Before people jump on me I'm just kidding. Just trying to bring levity to all the seriousness

«reads the last two pages»

«dies a little inside»

Edit: Right, one habitual liar banned (again, and for the same thing) and his imbecilic goal-post shifting removed.

Ha! I did the same thing this week too. I ran the first Sunday cup event and then immediately went to the right and entered the Sunday Cup Classic. I was like "hold on, this ain't right..." and then went back to the green thingy.

Glad to see I'm not the only that missed that😁

Hadn’t played for 3 weeks because of vacation and traveling.
Yesterday was the first time for me to play the game post 1.40 patch… again or in some way still in love with the game. The new Porsche and the Dodge, so nice these cars. Love the new weekly challenges.
Hope that they will implement Sophy even further with races with more than only 2-3 laps.

I can see pd releasing sophy on more tracks in monthly updates, i domt expect any major other than quick races before maybe end of next year

Or maybe use Sophy for the special weekly events. That will make them truly special.

And I definitely need to grind some money. It hurts a bit that I was exactly on holiday during the 3 weeks with Update 1.40.
Babur it seems that at least a pretty eas 1.5 mio / hour should be still possible.

I have a quick question to anyone who plays GT7 in VR - what happens when you go into the pit? Do you stay in the first person VR perspective as you go through the pit lane and approach the pit crew, or is it just the same as playing in ‘normal’ perspective? Cheers.

Normal perspective.

You go to the normal cut scene. To make matters worse, You have to usually reset your position upon exiting the pits. Or what I do is reset my position when I’m going into the pits (by pressing the pause button) and stay still throughout the pit stop so my position is reset upon pit exit. It’s an annoying oversight by PD, but still worth the price of entry

An intriguing development.
I read it as "Bugatti" at first, like they made another VGT. But no, it's Bulgari. From what I've heard it's a fashion brand like Dior, specializing in watches & jewellery

Bulgari making a VGT is like one of the wildest Ridge Racer-style dreams ever conceived. From what I can see, it looks to be a speedster/barchetta based on its silhouette.

It is spelled Bvlgari in the video. Evidently it is the same company?

It makes sense for this to be the month they go hard on VGTs - remember that part of the GTWS this year is this:
We will also be hosting various other events at the venue; to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Vision Gran Turismo, full scale models will tell the story of this project as part of a special exhibition in the Gran Turismo Garage. Snacks and drinks will also be on sale at the GT Café in the interactive zone of the World Finals venue.
Bulgari, though... I think you could have given this forum 10,000 guesses and they wouldn't have come up with a Bulgari VGT!

Mangusta Dior, Bulgari VGT...

Yamauchi-san if you read me, please pay a visit to Ralph Lauren.;)
