In an era when VGT cars are becoming sort of reality, with global electrification and hybrid-everything it would be appriciated move if someone would bring us true petrolheads VGT, but designed like a proper car,with nice naturaly aspirated ICE (it can be powered by sintethic fuel), you know, just a proper sports car that companies now cannot bring to us because of global eco/green brainwashing.
 
I dunno, I mean concept cars have been part of GT since day one, I find it pretty interesting what the manufacturers are coming up with. I know people like to rag on the ‘spaceship’ designs, but a lot of IRL concept cars have looked like that for the past 20 years (at least!).

A fashion company making a concept car is maybe less interesting to me than something from a proper car manufacturer, but it’s no reason to play Forza instead. It’s not like they’re taking a real car away and putting this in its place.

Custom races used to be the cure to the disease that are VGTs, but until I can use Sophy in Custom Races it’s ineffective.

Can’t go back to racing regular AI.

Gr1 races in LeMans against Sophy will an absolute clown show.

I think it’s not too hard to wrap your head around why some people don’t want to have made up cars designed by fashion brands in their races.

PD should simply give us the option to remove them from arcade races and we’re golden.

I expect the Bvlgari to have a really nice interior, so there's that. It just might end up being a decent experience in VR.

Best case scenario will be, if player haters(see what I did there?) have to use it for one hundred percent game completion. :sly::lol:
 
I’d be more excited for VGT’s if they had more customization and upgrade options, they’re pretty much all limited to their stock forms with ballast or power limiters in terms of adjusting their performance for certain requirements.
 
Sorry for being out of the loop – have they already announced how we'll be able to acquire the car? Is it going to be a gift thingie or will we be able to buy it from the Brand Central?

Most likely Brand Central for Bulgari VGT and maybe early exclusive access for Genesis VGT (the gift thingie)
 
Well, I never expected it before, but after seeing the Dior Mangusta (with "elegant brand essence") and now the Bvlgari VGT, the floodgates are open for further weird LVMH x GT collabs! PSVR2 users will have to let me know if it smells like Givenchy, whatever that smells like...
I will not be the least bit surprised when the Marc Jacobs race suit comes along, and if it weren't for alcohol advertising regulations there'd probably already be a palette of paint chips to complement Glenmorangie. It is Brand Central after all, and the museum section has nothing about the history of Louis Vuitton yet...

Are we getting those shoe cars this decade? I really, genuinely want to know what the Nike and Jordan VGTs look like, or if that's not this game's style, go conjure up an R.M. Williams VGT. :D

is there a way to search for liveries for a specific car by most popular / most likes? it's so frustrating to have to go through all 50 to 100 pages for every single car not to mention how slow they load up for me on each page

This is what happens when you lose sufficient SR to trigger a DR reset. I'd assume your SR also dropped to B?

SR was B...before lifted down to C but without losing DR...so I have to regain SR and rank will be restablished?

I read it as "Bugatti" at first, like they made another VGT. But no, it's Bulgari. From what I've heard it's a fashion brand like Dior, specializing in watches & jewellery

Well, Bulgari goes far beyond what Christian Dior did with the special livery for the Mangusta (and I'm still wondering why the Mangusta and not another car). Intriguing yes, but...
 
This is something I'd love to hear the gossip on down the line - both from the side of PD/Sony deciding that fashion houses were good partnerships to seek out, or from the side of Dior/Bulgari deciding they needed promotion from a video game that, let's face it, in 2023 is in a niche genre.

Once was a bit of a head turner but stuff like that happens. It's just so weird that it's happened twice now.

The GR Supra Racing Concept is a concept, while the Supra Gr.4 has the same interior as the road-going Supra. I wonder if that GR GT3 car that Toyota's supposedly developing could end up replacing the former? In the meantime, I'd be down for a more formal Supra GT4, since it seems that it was homologated in 2020, whereas the Supra Gr.4 is considered a 2019 model.

Don't even get me started on my perceived potential for other real-world Gr.4 cars to come to GT7, such as the Alpine A110, the Saleen S1, the KTM X-Bow, and the Maserati GranTurismo.

That GR GT3 car I read today is supposedly going to be called the "LF R", with its road car version being the successor to the Lexus LF A (which itself was recently added to GT7 funnily enough).
Toyota group recently applied for a trademark of that name in October. Also makes sense given it already looks like a modern LF A, especially at the back.

Toyota days ago appealed to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) to reserve the name Lexus LFR, possibly for the LFA successor.

Would also make sense to have Toyota itself as solely the Hypercar brand in WEC, and use the LMGT3 category to advertise the Lexus brand, as they currently do with the RC F.
