Incredibly niche question that only I care about: Anyone who still has their TGR Cup reward black GR010, has its colour/livery name updated to "No.7 2024" to match the new Brand Central livery?

I sold mine so I can't check, but I remember it didn't have a livery name at the time it was given out.
Still doesn't have a livery name

So roll cage type c is no cage?

I must say, Polyphony seems to have upped their game with regards to car customization options these past few updates.

Last update had some cool new options on the Ruf like the exposed rear and the ability to hide the bolts on the body kit, or the Gallardo with all the GT3-spec options.

This update has a bunch of nice options as well. Drag racing wings on the Evo VIII and GT-R, some sort of carbon grille on the GT-R, and a ton of variety on the Hiace like various differently styled front ends, window and mirror options, an option to remove the passenger grab handle, and even a way to strip out all the rear seats with one of the roll cage options.

Great stuff!

Kind of funny and bizarre mix of real and fake sponsors, the Ford RS 500 has a "censored" Würth logo, but they added the real RTL logo (German TV station) which I've never seen as a sponsore before in GT7
They did these kind of pseudo-replica liveries for the All Japan GT Car Championship races too. Raybrig was changed to the "Michigan Automobile Club" for example

PD really like the Evo 8 and 9. The Evo 9 had completely unique body parts depending on if it was widebodied or not, and the Evo 8 is the same.

Ignore the grille on the widebodied version, that's common between the widebody and non-widebody.

Widebody is the one with gold wheels and modified grille.

Polyphony Digital has once again, missed another opportunity to include the Multi-Function Display that they themselves made for the Nissan GT-R back in 2007.

It seemed fitting to put it on the last ever R35 after so much history together, but we just got a turned off screen instead...

And to think it was working fine on the PS3:

Cr.5k plus whatever the sale price of the van is that day.

Van cost = Cr.25k
Tuning Valuation = Cr.30k (typical for an engine swapped car)
Car Valuation = Cr.8k (for example)

Profit = 30 + 8 - 25 = Cr.13k (per van!)

Well this is great idea to make some profit from those engines in storage. Do you only swap engine or you are making more mods for this car?

Very disappointing car selection in this last update! :grumpy:
2 cars we already got and a people carrier. What's next PD, a bendy bus or a tractor?
The Hiace is not a disappointment. Give it a go. It's way more fun than you think. I was giggling as I drove it around Bathurst bone stock, despite being really slow. I actually had a chance to do some sightseeing.

Just the engine. If you make more mods it reduces your profit (unless there are engine compatible parts in your storage as well)

With a 1,024 CV (1,000'ish HP) engine swap available, it should be interesting.

Not sure if it's necessarily from this latest update, or one before it, but the Tomahawk X seems to have got a bit faster for top speed. At Route X it did a lap 4.5 seconds quicker than any previous attempt of mine, and with a 5m/s tailwind on the back straight it can now hit 420MPH. It can also comfortably stay above 400MPH for the whole lap.

Must be physics related. I'd take a guess at something in the aerodynamics model allowing it to be more efficient at cutting through the air with less drag, but I'm not sure since aerodynamics wasn't a listed change on the latest patch notes. Would improved traction from suspension & tyre physics changes make that significant of a difference here?

I assume this profit only works for low cost cars, otherwise the cost-valuation window enlarges too much. Correct?

I have lot of these parts but never went into this trading exercise

Yea! I keep it simple and do it with cars that cost less than 30k

Haven’t tried the update yet, but heard someone saying the braking has changed? Can anyone confirm that?
Only drove the new EVO for like 15 mins today, but breaking in a straight line didn't send me into a violent spin suggesting that the ABS might actually do its thing now.

Very true, it is a strange decision by PD. Following on that theme, I have always wanted the R34's MFD to be properly replicated: https://jalopnik.com/the-r34-gt-rs-multifunction-display-was-secretly-its-co-1845687935
