The risk that this is associated with that is getting manufacturers angry, risking future relationships and making licensing harder than it is today for PD. Hence this can work in small indie games, but not in the franchise as big as GT is.It’s probably way too late for PD, but if they were to remaster past games(leave out track licencing just for the sake of talking about the cars only), could they get away with just renaming cars and adding fake sponsors?
This, and also while they're really obvious what they're based off of, SWGP2 will still have modified the cars just enough to be able to claim it's not the real thing. Basically the same thing PD did with the F1500 to say it's not a Lotus 97T.The risk that this is associated with that is getting manufacturers angry, risking future relationships and making licensing harder than it is today for PD. PS Highly recommend Super Wooden GP II, great game!
Still drives me batty how PD made a pseudo Super Taikyu Crown. They know about the GreenBrave car and it’s such an awful tease. Just wish they’d have put the real car in the game.

Toyota Crown RS(ARS220) Super Taikyu ST-3 Saitama Toyopet GreenBrave #52 2020

Definitely. I mentioned how there's also the "Calsonic" R32 Group A replica sans decals, in the Fuji Clubman+ race. PD saw fit to even do the massive negative camber on the front wheels.

The announcement of a partnership absolutely does not mean that there will be no announcements in the coming months for GT8!! Look back at GT Sport, the Jaguar VGT appeared in November 2019. Regular updates to the game stopped in May 2020 (6 months later). We have just got Xiaomi and PD cooperation revealed with SU7 and Xiaomi vision GT being added specifically to GT7 in the future…
This means that GT8 isn’t anywhere close. PD is aming for long term support for GT7
Please take this with a whole Ocean of salt but when I searched for GT8 leaks, someone posted this. I have NO idea if this is true. I just wanted to share this. If this is true, then Polyphony is in a really bad state.

Typical`my mate says..`stuff.I cant show the documents because...........One hell of a YT channel…
Worth checking out the other videos…
Great thumbnails too.
I call BS on all of this.
As opposed to a proper one that milks the absolute hell out of your wallet at every chance it gets?GT7 is already a live service game. A underutilized and underdeveloped live service game. LOL
Do you know why they didn't add Lap Time Challenge this week? Normally there are always 2 available, now there is only 1. Strange.
Xiaomi's channel used GT6 footage instead of GT7 and simply put the "captured on PS4" there. It was a mistake from the editor
It's also just about impossible. You NEVER see remasters/remakes of racing games because of all the licensing that goes into it. Once the license is up for the various manufacturers, they would need to repurchase ALL of them, which in many cases is damn near impossible. You will NEVER see a Gran Turismo remaster, for this reason. The astronomical number of licenses they would have to shell out money for (if they could even get them in the first place as some no longer exist or have changed hands) negates the entire reason for putting out a remake. They wouldn't make any money on it.A GT remaster would be hated by nearly everyone. There are so many extras that would be missing, it's pointless.
It may take a year for getting developed and added to the game, but that's just a prediction. I'd say it would be ready by May/June of 2026. They would have to test it out too before publishing it to the game. Idk though...but it's great that they are bringing something new and fresh to gt7.It'll be interesting to see how long it will take for the Xiaomi SU7 to actually be added to the game, and how far along in the approximate 9 month development time cars take it is at the time of announcement.
If it was only first scanned when Kaz got to drive it, it shouldn't arrive until Spring next year, so I assume it must've been scanned significantly beforehand because you wouldn't announce it if it was so far off.
They didn't use it in a race, and no in-game model of the car was shown in reveal/trailer footage, so I'd take a guess at saying it's still a few months & updates away.
That is the same issue as for the regular AI, and we know it was done like this on purpose..Just a quick question. Has the GT Sophy setting of having Weak and Off Boost reversed been sorted?
Not yet, if ever.Just a quick question. Has the GT Sophy setting of having Weak and Off Boost reversed been sorted?
What do you mean by this? That Sophy has "less rubberbanding" on Weak than on Off? Would you say that having Sophy on Strong means that it is still worse than on the Weak setting?Just a quick question. Has the GT Sophy setting of having Weak and Off Boost reversed been sorted?
