I got GT4 vibes from the text on a black background. 4 + 4 = 8 = GT8 is GT4 2.0?

Ah, true that, and I’d imagine its GT3 version would be added alongside it, all while GR is added to Brand Central.I expect the new GR GT to get added before anything else newly released from Toyota.
Admin has ball knowledge, but I can't see it coming into 7 until later in the year (or never because lol)Peugeot sport admin a Gran Turismo fan or a hint
Cancellation is now official: https://www.shm-afeela.com/en/news/2026-03-25/Somewhat relevant due to PD's involvement in it and the in-game push: With Honda canceling the 0 Series and RSX EV, the future of the Afeela looks to be in danger:

Sony Has 'No Information' on the Fate of the Afeela Project After Honda's EV Pullback
Sony Honda Mobility says that both Sony and Honda "will hold discussions" on how Honda's EV exit affects the Afeela 1 sedan.www.thedrive.com
Guess this means Ah fee fee fee fee won't return in GT8.Cancellation is now official: https://www.shm-afeela.com/en/news/2026-03-25/

Considering it's a Sony car and it being in game already, I'm pretty sure it'll be in 8, but I could be wrongGuess this means Ah fee fee fee fee won't return in GT8.
Point being I can see Sony/Honda attempt to bury the project long term now that it is cancelled.Considering it's a Sony car and it being in game already, I'm pretty sure it'll be in 8, but I could be wrong
🦀 AFEELA ONE IS GONE 🦀We did it, boys
WE cancelled the Afeela
likely will sell concept and it will probably end up being made by some other car manufacturer in the future... Sony making an EV was too late, market is over saturated and dealerships are having issues selling themPoint being I can see Sony/Honda attempt to bury the project long term now that it is cancelled.
For what it's worth, the original dynamic prototype used a custom platform designed by Sony and built by Magna. While the car subsequently became the Afeela 1 and (as we speculated at the time) was engineered around the Honda Series 0 platform, there's not really that much holding Sony back from switching to another platform - and this time an established one rather than one in development. Well, money, but that's just money. They've even made full production builds, to test the production line, so there's a lot of data there now.We did it, boys

Curiously, "Afeela" sounds like the Spanish "afila" which means to sharpen a blade, tool, etc. But in Japanese sounds to me like "Afira" (Af-era in English). Pfff, BYD named their vehicles as dynasties (Song, Yuan) or animals (Dolphin, Sealion, Shark).Afeela might be dead (hopefully; dreadful name)
Toyota is even more skeptical of EVs (in favor of hybrids) over Honda. And even if Sony chose Magna Steyr (the partner for Vision-S prototypes), it being built in Europe despite not (likely) to be sold there plus supply chain crises (assuming that meant early production in 2022/2023) would not still a good look for them.Yea i think they did a mistake when they partnered with Honda , they should have gone with Toyota just imagine new LFA with PS5 on board lol
The 90s skylines were always great in the franchise. You could use them from "low tier" to more challenging races with tuning (+ everybody learned about the skylines after 2 fast 2 furiousI think R33 in GT1 and R34 in GT4 were the cars I drove the most by far.
They drag down whoever they are withMy boy Lewis knows what's good. Now if he could only stop playing with Kardashians and go back to playing GT - that'd be great.
