I expect the new GR GT to get added before anything else newly released from Toyota.
Ah, true that, and I’d imagine its GT3 version would be added alongside it, all while GR is added to Brand Central.

Speaking of Japanese racecars, I do hope we get the 2024 GT500 trio in particular, as I love the concept of a Civic that’s somehow FR and has that sort of power. Not to mention it’d be another even eight years of separation from the other two GT500 trios. (And even roughly eight years between those and the JGTC GT500 cars, especially if you go by the last of them, the ‘00 NSX.)

Anyway, since it does seem like we’ve been getting more circuit experiences lately, I wonder which of those we could get next? Maybe one for Sargenda B or C? Or maybe even Suzuka East, heh.

EDIT: I’m also definitely curious about future Bonus/Extra Menus, too. I could foresee some brands getting an Extra Menu, but I think more cars would need to be added for them, first, like for Pagani and Lancia. For the former, if they added the Utopia and either the Zonda C12S or the Zonda F, that’d seem perfect to me.

EDIT2: I don’t recall there being an Extra Menu dedicated to the Group B era, either, so that could include the respective car from Peugeot, but I’d also imagine the Group B-era Audi Quattro would need to be added as well as the Lancia 037 - or alternatively, the Delta S4. There could also be an Extra Menu themed around Group A, but that’d likely require the addition of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI rally car from that era, joining similar cars from Subaru and Toyota.

… for the track. ;)

Somewhat relevant due to PD's involvement in it and the in-game push: With Honda canceling the 0 Series and RSX EV, the future of the Afeela looks to be in danger:
Cancellation is now official: https://www.shm-afeela.com/en/news/2026-03-25/

Point being I can see Sony/Honda attempt to bury the project long term now that it is cancelled.
likely will sell concept and it will probably end up being made by some other car manufacturer in the future... Sony making an EV was too late, market is over saturated and dealerships are having issues selling them

We did it, boys
WE cancelled the Afeela
For what it's worth, the original dynamic prototype used a custom platform designed by Sony and built by Magna. While the car subsequently became the Afeela 1 and (as we speculated at the time) was engineered around the Honda Series 0 platform, there's not really that much holding Sony back from switching to another platform - and this time an established one rather than one in development. Well, money, but that's just money. They've even made full production builds, to test the production line, so there's a lot of data there now.

Afeela might be dead (hopefully; dreadful name) but the car needn't be.

Curiously, "Afeela" sounds like the Spanish "afila" which means to sharpen a blade, tool, etc. But in Japanese sounds to me like "Afira" (Af-era in English). Pfff, BYD named their vehicles as dynasties (Song, Yuan) or animals (Dolphin, Sealion, Shark).

Taking into account everything we know (Hondas current financial situation, that the Afeela was mainly targeting the NA market, the hefty price tag, the (IMO stupid) idea of making features subscription based after 3 years) I'm not really surprised by the cancellation.
And I don't think it will be removed from GT7.

Yea i think they did a mistake when they partnered with Honda , they should have gone with Toyota just imagine new LFA with PS5 on board lol
Toyota is even more skeptical of EVs (in favor of hybrids) over Honda. And even if Sony chose Magna Steyr (the partner for Vision-S prototypes), it being built in Europe despite not (likely) to be sold there plus supply chain crises (assuming that meant early production in 2022/2023) would not still a good look for them.

Did PD nerf the WTC 800 Montreal race? Just got on the game for the first time in a week, and although I still had to pass Serrano for the win on the last lap, I noticed the race in general seems more winnable now.
