I didn't like how many cars GTS just gave me, and for seemingly the most innocuous activities. You inhaled - have a car! You exhaled - have a car! Inhale/exhale combo - have a car! Double inhale/exhale combo - have a car! Of the hundreds I have, ten or so are ones that I actually purchased.

I suppose with GT Sport's online focus, that mechanic makes more sense, but I am among those who have never tried and have no interest in online, and it took away any feeling of journey the campaign (such as it was) had. Ultimately, my collection doesn't feel like my collection; it feels like one that was given to me.
I've never seen the daily workout thing as a bad thing. I mean we ended up getting something for free, and with a chance of it being something good, like one of the 20 mil Cr. cars. The only downside, was that in GTS we couldn't sell those gifted cars, so we couldn't profit from those duplicates, so we could buy a car we actually want. In GT7, this would be even more useful, with tuning plus a bigger car list requiring quite a bit more grind. For someone who likes to collect, it's just helpful.

Welp, they've got 30 minutes to convince people to pre-order it. I have a feeling they will show good content here.

Going fullscreen, 30 min. No interruptions.

I don't even have any playstations but feel compelled to watch

These are the kinds of details only Polyphony include. Specifically the clouds, stars and weather forecast HUD. They may not be integral to the driving experience but I love that they went to those lengths.

They really tuned an old beetle and made a comparison out of it 😂
"Tuned" is an understatement:

That's a 996 911 Mezger engine...

So engine swaps are a thing?
Are you telling me we can do engine swaps now?
At this point, I honestly couldn't answer you. But that's a 1966 Beetle with a Mezger flat-six from a 996 GT3.

I thought I knew what was going on (we have just published three things at once), but apparently not...

Wow, that was… underwhelming to say the least. Music Rally and Music Replay were some of the cringiest things I’ve ever seen.

Also, I played GT Sport literally a minute before the show just to be blown away by the visuals, but I wasn’t. I think it actually looked worse at times?

The only impressive thing was the time/weather technology. That was pretty dope.
