Event delayed as posted. Will update OP when we get a new date. I'm kinda bummed, but it's understandable.

To when, exactly? "Soon" I guess.
June 8th is going to be my guess, seeing how past Sony conferences at E3 were on a Monday and all.

But yeah, this year so far has not been kind to... pretty much every industry, actually. Or nearly, at least. =/

Wouldn't it be good to show what they want to show? To distract the people from all the bad with some good news?
I dont know..

I understand what you mean, I wont get hyped if I see an official confirmation or get the source from the developers themselves.
Sony postponed the event, what a bummer. I hope PD tease something. I'm really itching for some actual next gen GT news

So, did Sony ever say the new date of their gaming event?

I had high hopes for Project CARS 3.

Ever since they drop that trailer from PSN, the more I watch it ( and I have watched it a handful of times already), the more I think the way Kaz, PD approaches racing as game is something that suit me a lot more...

The calm, soothing, semi serious and high quality eye candy... That's matching much more with I enjoy console racing.

No other car game does it like Kaz, they either don't want to or they simply can't.
That's why GT is so different, unlike any other, and why I love GT.
We all know GT is not perfect, but at least it is closest to the ideal. Long live PD.

I am beyond the "score the most points for ramming my opponents at every opportunity", I am beyond the positive affirmation pat on the back "you hit the perfect corner and line" during a race...
If you race clean, this is not the first or the only thing you are concerned most with...
The fake visual effects to make you feel you are flying at 1000mph when you are only doing 110...

Real racing is stressful, you don't want to make it more stressful than necessary... Gimmick visual effects that I saw on the PC3 trailer is a huge turn off for me...

I am now very confident that Kaz will deliver a superior product, and I will want no doubt...

Looking forward to my GT7 comfort food...
Too bad I will have to shell out more money for the PS5...
... Which I cannot realistically afford even at the end of this year... But that's just me personally...

I will have to enjoy GT7 from afar, vicariously through all of you...

I already know I don't and won't have enough time to play GT7 to justify spending $600 for it.

See you all in 5 years.

I wonder if our PS4 Wheels will work with GT7 (or PS5 in general).
Is information known about this?

As far as I'm aware there is no info on this yet. I expect they will work, but then again, I expected the same with PS3 to PS4.

Well, some of them do, like T300 and T500 (not in PS4 menu). I’m quite sure that T-GT will work though.

I've been wanting to pick up a wheel for a while, but I don't want to be stuck with something that I can't use on the PS5.

Trademark filed, pretty much same date as the PS5 games reveal event before it was postponed.

Thanks to Sal from Gematsu.

Alright, but why Argentina and why only now?

For Argentina, I have no idea.

Though this is probably the biggest thing that shows that GT was set to have an appearance during the PS5 show. IIRC, Sony trademarked Shadow of the Colossus the same day the remake was announced during their 2017 E3 presentation
