So leagues aren't a separate thing, they are just crammed in the nations cup and manu cup.
Wonder what are the differences between gt1,2 and 3.

Hi Maznak, you are a star and thanks for your prompt response. Apologies I can't send you a photo however it states "In Progress". You are correct, it needs to be between 600pp and 650pp and I am only on 553pp. The problem is that all Turbochargers are not available or the Superchargers so how do I achieve 600pp and as I mentioned I have bought everything else that is available, cost me plenty.
Apologies, my BHP is 553
I think you have to lower your pp to the requirement of the race and then it'll show as completed! It happened to me also, I didn't notice that there was a limit!
Thank you, I think you are correct, let me check.

I'm really enjoying the game for what it is. As an OG player, the 2 cars I want the most are the Pennzoil Skyline and the Castrol Supra(pre order bonus)

Anyone who is dead serious on console "racing" games should be playing ACC. It's like night and day. GT will probably never have anything even close to that, and that's ok. I play GT because the simcade physics are enjoyable, and it's a fun game. ACC is much more a thinking man's game. Nothing wrong with either game, but I think some folks are confused about what GT offers. This is a celebration of cars and of driving, it's not a simulation of anything.

My wheel is permanently set up with my pc, how is ACC with the controller? Or maybe I should try it on PC.

Just got my second 1M dollar ticket! These daily tickets hit way different vs GTS😂😂

@tonybarnaby ACC is very good, my only problem is I don’t only want to drive GT cars. In GT7 I can drive a stock production car, all the way up to a GT car, and that’s why GT is my favorite game!

100k for the s2000, what are they on at PD? Not reflective of the market at all if that's their aim.
I know it's a low mileage CR, buuuuuut

Previous record was $100k in 2019, and that wasn't even a CR. Mecum sold a regular convertible, with under 1,000 miles, for $72k in 2018...

I've had a bit of a thought on GT7 and everything that has happened since the release, and I think that GT7 was rushed towards the end of development and released in an unfinished state.
Why?

First the issue with online lobbies. All the issues and missing features makes me think it was quite a late addition. Normally you should expect at least to be on par as the game before.

Then the saving/progress issue. It should not be too difficult to build a failsafe in against this - I don't recall GT Sport to have any of these issues. Probably not enough time and/or resources available to focus on this. I hope it's not because they never thought of it, because with an online only game they should.

And also the new events visible at that Jimmy Fallon appearance. Possibly not available because not bug tested/balanced yet? Or because of missing texts/translations for the cafes? Who knows.

Don't misunderstand me - I love GT7, but all the rough edges that become visible now after some times makes me think a month or two more time for development wouldn't have been the worst decision.

Its enjoyable to me on PS5 controller. I have never had a wheel, so I don't know what I'm missing haha. Someone with a wheel would probably say acc is unplayable with a controller 😆

Friendly reminder this game was delayed by a year. 🙃

I really like the way the PS5 controller works with it, but then I haven't used a wheel since my PS2 went up into the loft!

I’m so mad I cannot drift… I got gold on the first drift test, but I cannot do the other two drift events I keep getting silver! everything else on the mission catalogs I gold.. I saw the last two mission catalogs and they have drifting also…😭😭
Just a reminder as the missions are currently bugged due to 1.06, you should find you get Sports or even racing tires instead of comforts which were issued prior to the update.

Yes, and less oversteer.
Well, it's better, got a third on Trial Mountain but it still washes out a bit on tight corners. It's also still a little tail happy on fast corners but you can usually style it out with a good drift! I might have a further play with the M3 '07 that I used for the WTC600. That seemed better balanced overall.

I beat all the Cafe missions. Still got the S license to get through, missions and chilli races in world circuits. Gonna continue to dabble into sport mode as well but man I hope lobbies get fixed soon. It's unplayable at the moment. Looking forward to the first big update where they introduce new cars, tracks and new features.

It remains bonkers that there's a 20 million credit cap. That's only there to annoy people.
It's there to force you to use the MT since that has an unlimited cap

I used controller settings provided by @GlamFM and it was about as good as Gran Turismo. I actually find both (console) ACC and GT7 to be about equally intuitive as far as driving goes. (I use a wheel)

I love the 911 GT1 it drives like a dream, oposite to Carrera GT...
I bought them both yesterday and tested them. It's a shock how narrow the Carrera GT is. You could almost two of them to fit the width of the GT1.

Okay so sure it would be nice if there were a few more races with grid starts but the way they are implemented in GT7 is way better than in past GT games. You actually have to time your start and can be penalized for a false start.

So either don't buy it or spend the 7 minutes to do the Fisherman's Ranch race twice to get the credits for it.
I already bought it, I just thought I would point out the ridiculous pricing on yet another car as this is a forum for discussion. I know it's the way of the world now but it's ironic that part of the charm of Japanese cars and their digital counterparts back in the day was affordability and the performance on offer. It's a shame that the rocketing prices IRL need be reflected in a game. Perhaps it wouldn't irk me so much if you didn't have to grind some banal race.

Yeah, I also find it funny how the R34 GT-R is way more expensive than the Evo VI TME ingame when, all things considered, the TME is the better car

Sure thing, but GT7 isn't based in the UK and doesn't use UK currency for pricing.

Nor dollars or yen, or any other currency for that matter.
It's just called "Gran Turismo Credits", the official currency of the GT island. I wonder how much a bistro dinner at the GT Cafe would cost?
