Why do i have to buy a seperate set of for example racing-mediums for a Gr. Corvette and a Gr. Viper ?

ITS THE SAME TYRES. Buy them once for all cars, ok, but not for each car seperately.

Its just a joke when you are already in a race-warmup and then you notice a tyre is missing and you have to quit to buy it in tuning shop.

Hope they fix this asap.
They really aren't the same tires though. Different widths, sizes, etc. Sure they could go through and check that each tire that can fit on one car would fit on another, though if they were to do this I'd expect each set used to cost money instead. Carry on with the same set of worn tires through multiple races, and buy new ones when they're too worn maybe? Then there'd be a whole separate tire inventory... it gets to be a bit much. It's Gran Turismo, not Car Mechanic Simulator.

Hey, did you buy a bunch of AE86 Levins to race against those or does the game swap liveries if possible?
Yes. I had the one from the Menu book and bought six when the UCD was up. Had I known the cars disappeared after completing the menu….

Bruh...

Just think, would you buy only one set of tires IRL for all your cars to share? It doesn't work like that.

Darn! I was really hoping there was a feature I missed in custom race mode. Oh well.
Thanks for answering.

You know he makes a good point.. Why can we share rims between car's but not tires. Idealy we should not be able to share rims , I sure had a hell of a time finding rim's to fit my RX-3 and SA RX7 in real life and can share them between car's BUT not at the same time but tnen you guys would crucify me for suggesting PDrequired you to buy rims per car .

In real life i have to BMW E46 and i share tyres/rims between them regulary.

In that case, it's okay. But you were wanting to have one set of tires for completely different cars in the game. You have to think about the wheel size, alignment and all that. No two cars are built the same.

Ok.

Another question: There is this new cockpit-view, where the virtual-wheel is not centered but on the left side of the screen.

What is the purpose of this view? Who the heck is sitting not in front of TV, but on the left side?

People that want to.

I don't however, think it's related to microtransactions ( as others have claimed) as they were equally as bad as in Sport.
Here's what a 30 lap, 20 car grid, Gr.3 race at St. Croix C on Professional difficulty gets you in both games:

GT7:

You make almost 200k more credits for winning this race in GTS than in GT7. Your statement is false.

Keep in mind, to get 20 of those, at the time(54k?), you’d need about 1.1mil Cr.

Didn’t take long to get that GT1. So, when the cars I really want pop up, it’s on like popcorn.

Found the SpaceX Falcon Heavy easter egg at Daytona. You have to be quick to catch it and I think it is time based and only happens once unless you exit back to the track selection screen and re-enter to reset the time. There are several minutes between the launch and landing so I cut that time out of the video.

This is stupid and wrong for so many reasons but I will conceit that having to go to the tuning shop to buy parts is annoying. You used to be able to do it straight from the tuning menu itself back in GT5/6.

Are "styles" bugged?

Style from collection:

Style when applied:

Noticed this also with the Subaru Gr.4 WRX "555" livery from Showcase...

Missing elements or layer order is messed up.
Aye, it's buggy. Found if I scroll through the decals one click up/down at a time they pop back.
Haven't confirmed but I suspect holding down the up/down scroll buttons to quickly navigate the decals messes them up.
Just need to reload it, scroll through the broken bits & inspect it before you save it. Right pain.

Another video! This one from a GREAT custom race on Monday. 30 minutes (16 laps) at Catalunya (I sped up some parts to shorten the video) Gr4 class on professional difficulty, tire and fuel wear at 1x, and I'm driving my GT4 spec new Z. (400hp, 3050lbs, ~650pp, RH tire) Started myself mid pack and getting to the front wasn't easy. Managed to get up to 2nd by lap 10 and finally caught the leader by lap 12. Got within a couple seconds but just could not seal the deal. Those Alfa 155's are quick. Can't wait until I can purchase all the regular Gr4 cars so I can exclude the Alfa's from the field. 🤣

Fair warning: The sped up parts of the video have fairly annoying audio. Super squirrel speed.

I just set the car as high as I would go and put spring rate and ARB to around 80% of max (was previously 15-20%), still have the same barrier.

Here’s my entry:

See the red dot?

And for context, here’s how the input dot compares to the actual steering angle.

“Half” input range:

“Full” input range:

True maximum lock:

As you can see the wheels can turn a full 2-2.5 times further than what the input dot indicates it can.

And if you care these were the settings I was on:

I've been having the same issue along with all my friends. We've tried everything for the past week and haven't figured it out. The steering angle adapter works for higher speed but it acts more like a caster change + steering angle change then anything. Sensitivity with the adapter is way slower than without.

This is awesome. Thanks to custom grid settings you can create your own custom spec race cars and make races with them. I also think about creating Camaro GT4 to replace Corvette Gr4. :D

Does anyone have the Plymouth Superbird yet? This car alone is my main reason to keep considering playing the game and I want to be able to get it ASAP. Hopefully at the rate the used cars and legendary cars rotate, it won't be literal years before anyone has a chance to get it.

VXR
Anyone else lost connection and now the game won't boot at all?

Got an error code E2-CE210610.

"Unable to proceed. An error occurred while connecting to PlayStation Network."

Followed by "You cannot save because the network is currently unavailable."
is it fixed now? I just got the issue myslef.

Is it just me or have the TAG logos not been included in the GT7 livery editor?

Ok.

This is only available in replays, you cant actually drive in game with that view.

Trouble is, these are not my designs. They're from showcase.

Wish I could go in and inspect the graphics and realign them... But I don't think that's possible.
