Yeah but knowing PD they would go for the cheapest and crappiest music. We're never going to see the likes of Judas Priest, Van Halen, etc again. Instead we'll get more ear hurting Rosalia or some kind generic rap music. Music that ultimately should not be in a racing game. Or exist in general.

They've had King Gizzard songs in GTS and GT7. If they ever did a music update, I'm hoping for more of their tracks. Maybe an infinitely-looping "Nonagon Infinity" full-album endurance music rally.

Or more Daiki Kasho which you've vocally disliked multiple times now. =P

But sure, I'd be down for a music-focused update. Especially since Daiki has gone quiet on Twitter as of late, so he must be working on something.

But on the other hand, I feel like if we're gonna get any new music, it'd have to come with a major update in general. Like Spec 2.0 or something.

I'm not sure about that. I thought the music in GTS was amazing. Really helped to offer that feeling of class and sublimity.

I quite liked GTS soundtrack, but I think that soundtrack was an exception and not the norm. Since GT5 the soundtrack for GT has been rather hit and miss. You get some bangers but for every good song there seems to be roughly 3 bad or just average songs. It's almost as if PD spend a lot of money for a few songs then for the rest of the soundtrack they resort to reusing songs because they're cheap to license.

Agreed. GTS, and GT7's music is so bad, I have it turned way down. You can barely here it in the menus.

Edit: GTS had me wanting to kick Lenny Isbazar, whatever his name is, in the nuts, every time that Melancoly song came on. Had to hit the mute button, while in the livery editor.

I kinda dig the Daiki Kasho tracks tbf. Some of them are catchy, especially during a race.

Sorta pays homage to the original stuff that NFS had pre-High Stakes.

When it comes to Daiki Kasho's music, I'm mainly a fan of his GT5-era work, a.k.a. the ones with Jonathan Underdown singing. Never really liked his other stuff as much.

Meh, his stuff with Ray Hikari can be equally as great IMO. His GT4 stuff is decent at best, though.

The E92 M3 with no power mods and SH tires is my current go-to at the Nurburgring. Just a good suspension tune and stock wheels with wide offset.

imagine putting just one...one endurance event. Like 24H of Lemans with Modern Gr.1/Gr.3 and NO VGT, because no one likes them.


Instead, let's prey on PP system even further than before, making grind even slower than before. Let's destroy PP system, just so 0.1% players can buy MTX. Pathetic company, literally all they deserve is discontuniation of GT series as a whole, if they won't stop with their pathetic garbage system seen in free mobile games...I REPEAT, FREE MOBILE GAMES.

It's really just quite sad seeing the current state of the game. So much hype, excitment surrounded it before the release. Finally a full fledged GT title. Well, nevermind now.

In span of half an year updates were pathetic as always, playerbase dying and dying. Is there a salvation for this game? We can somehow only hope in upcoming November/December Updates, but who knows what we're going to get.


4 cars in October...we've never seen this before. (Besides Dior which is...actual disgrace, like quite literally). So who knows...maybe they're on the right path. Yet all we can do is somehow see through the dark and wonder what's next.

Anyone else noticed the nitrous bar looking slightly different on hybrid cars? It's missing all of the little markings.
