The last time a previous Car #3 appeared on socials before the silhouettes was ahead of 1.55 in January 2025, and 1.54 was a five-car update.

Previously the last Car #3 of 3 appeared before the silhouettes was ahead of 1.54 in November 2024, and that was four weeks before the update came.

I'm assuming this is the first time they've gone through all the cars before completing the ancilliary features (Scapes, Extra Menus, Sophy)?

what happened with the 2007 is-f that was supposedly being modeled for the game?
From this, which appeared in a FIAGTC B-roll?

That was a PS3-era footage - note the PCs running Windows 7 and DualShock 3s being used.

EDIT: From here:

Y'know, I often forget that the GR Corolla comes in more colors beyond white and "Smoke," as I've seen them around my area in red, with an acquaintance of mine even having a blue one! Of course, the GR Corolla in GT7 is the Morizo Edition in particular, so I imagine that such an edition has fewer color options, even if said options are exclusive to that variant. It sort of reminds me of the facelifted Mazda RX-8 from the early 2010s, which appears in NFS Hot Pursuit (2010) with both red and blue color options in addition to others, while the Spirit R version in GT7 can be either black, silver, or white.

Most of the new fantasy tracks in GT7 feel like they were also made with a course maker.
In terms of surrounding details or in terms of the flow? For St. Croix I can agree, Dragon Trail and Lago Maggiore I disagree, they are great tracks imho and do not feel "dull" as St. Croix

Edit: I also just remembered Alsace, where I have to agree with you, the turns and so on make little sense, but the ambience is a bit more immersive than St. Croix

In terms of flow mostly. But some of the visual details feel like the course maker too. Definitely Alsace, mostly the tracks that are not set up like a real circuit. Spent a lot of time with that feature so it's burned into my brain.

The update contents lately is making me feel more and more like we're not playing GT7 anymore, but rather a GT8 beta.
The focus on starter cars for a game most of us already started over 3 years ago is certainly something.

This video released the other day talking about where the game is currently at:

Absolutely not, they might be underwhelming but on enviroment alone they are unique and consistent. Alsase is the closest to what you're saying but there is enough high fidelity to make the track stand out.
There are bad tracks and then there are BAD tracks, Sierra is as unremarkable as white bread
i am suprised that not many people are aware of N-One Cup racing, even if James May of all people had talked about it

Just saying they feel like the course maker. Would not surprise me if PD uses some sort of advanced course maker for tracks like Alsace and then pretty them up afterwords with some manual work.

It's called an opinion. don't like it? Keep scrolling.
This is a forum, or have you forgotten?

You don't just state an opinion and leave it at that. Responses are part and parcel of this format.

Your "opinion" is an odd one, and unsubstantiated at that. I pointed it out. You obviously didn't like it. Such is life.

I might or might not be able to share evidence that Automobili Pininfarina was/is considering an entry into the VGT project. On one hand, it was a private DM, but on the other hand, it's not like I signed an NDA. Who wants "the tea," as they say these days?
