This intrigues me - the LFA is Lexus's most legendary car, why wouldn't they want it in the game? Most likely licensing on Lexus' part.
The LFA being in GT7 was the result of 1 woman trying to get Lexus to approve it.
I like having a greater variety of cars to choose from, makes my decision feel more individualYes, that's what i'm saying. It doesn't matter if you have a wide variety of cars if you only have a certain number of starting credits. You may be able to start with another starting car, but the flow of the game wont change because of it. It still remains the same and that is to start with no license races with a low PP car.
The only thing that might be interesting is to see how far you can get in the game with another starting car, but in reality i don't think it matters that much. Especially if you count tuning for it.
I think Gran Turismo is the type of game that would benefit from a "New Game Plus" feature, where it would reset licence and career event completion, but in return change up the prize cars(within reason) and tracks run in the career events, allowing players to run through the game again, but with a different experience.Yes, that's what i'm saying. 1.35 in June 2023.When was the last time we had a Music Rally update?
Well, the AFEELA we have in-game is the prototype. They might be showing the production model. Those side monitor cameras on the top of the car is not present for the current model in the game. Although I feel like it's gonna be a Hyper Force situation where it's just for the sake of a manufacture showcase only.
There's S-Tune as well, and it's essentially just three upgrade stages, going from S to R to Z. The older GT games had quite a few of the lower stages, but this is the first time the full-fat version has made an appearance. What exactly are the differences between a "Z-Tune" and an "R-Tune"?
To my uneducated self they are both tuned versions of the same car, by the same tuning house, so I don't know how or why they would be different from each other.
Would be interested in finding out though.

S and R tune are after market stuff you can add up to a GT-R, Z-tune are cars that Nismo bought back (20 of them), then entirely stripped down and are fully hand-(re)build, both chassis and engine, the S and R are tuning, the Z is basically a different car using similar parts but the process used to develop makes it way more of a refined object, a bit like the Nismo 400R .
Honestly I hope it ends with this, because it feels like we've been treading water for a while now and it does not feel like there are any grand plans for GT7 left.I hope it continues like this!!
Sophy 2.1 was added recently! And PD teased us b-spec in December!! Sophy always integrates circuits in each update!!When Sport was at the same lifecycle point 7 is now, only the GR86 was left content wise, GT7 had already been announced for most of a year, and I think we're right at the point where the delay to 2022/confirmation of PS4 support happened.
The situation isn't the same (Sport was itself delayed, pandemic effects, Sony don't reveal games as early now, there's not a new console to hype up) but it does feel like we're in 2020-21 GT Sport era, just with cars still coming regularly.
GTS also launched with only 168 cars, to much criticism. It was basically an early access game. Can't really compare the two.GTS updates got 170 cars!! We're only down to 114 with tomorrow's update for GT7!! I think there's still quite a while before this stops!!
Comparing GTS and GT7 is bit apples and oranges though. GTS was an early access game - regular updates where part of the deal whereas with GT7 updates just cannot be expected in the same way - especially free ones - given GT7 released as a full game.GTS updates got 170 cars!! You'll regret saying that when the September update drops with Motegi and the 2024 GT500 trio...Honestly I hope it ends with this, because it feels like we've been treading water for a while now and it does not feel like there are any grand plans for GT7 left.
Motegi maybe...You'll regret saying that when the September update drops with Motegi and the 2024 GT500 trio...

Some says that quirky cars or SUVs recently added to the game could be beneficial for the early stages of GT8's "Career Mode". The more I think about it, the more I think it won't be the case. Especially if they are back with the same GT Cafe formula.Yes, that's what i'm saying. It doesn't matter if you have a wide variety of cars if you only have a certain number of starting credits. Nah, I think you expect too little of PD. I'm personally expecting Pikes Peak in both paved and unpaved forms, complete with full weather and 24h cycle, and air density simulated. As for cars, I think they'll be adding the Lotus Evora Gr.3, Elise Gr.4, and Daihatsu Midget II.You'll regret saying that when the September update drops with Motegi and the 2024 GT500 trio...
