I am pretty sure we won’t get august update. They are really fast this month.
Maybe they are in a hurry to go on vacation.![]()
I wonder how people irl don't go a bit crazy hearing that constant hum while driving the Qashqai, imagine driving long distances with that never changing soundWhat I find a bit annoying with the Qashqai is the sound of the ICE Engine, it’s always this static sound like a generator, no matter if you are accelerating or braking, this just feels weird
Would drive (pun not intended) me crazy!I wonder how people irl don't go a bit crazy hearing that constant hum while driving the Qashqai, imagine driving long distances with that never changing sound
Yeah but that would have to be loud and not every kind of music would cancel this sound (i often listen to more chill music for example).Wild idea....maybe this actually listen to music. Shrugs
Yesterday I got to test-drive an e-Power X-Trail(with a different engine to the Qashqai in-game, yes I know) and I never heard that humming noise while driving on your usual road speeds (say 40km/h) and the only time I heard the engine was when I floored it to about 70km/h from a standstill (which then died out as soon as I lifted and coasted). In game, the humming noise seems to start once you depleted about half of the battery and would keep going even when you stopped the car, yet the test-drive car I had also had its battery depleted to about half of it yet there's virtually no humming from the engine. Maybe someone who drives an e-Power Nissan daily could explain how and when the engine kicks in IRL, compared to how it's depicted in the game?I wonder how people irl don't go a bit crazy hearing that constant hum while driving the Qashqai, imagine driving long distances with that never changing sound
imagine roasting someone for an opinion in gtplanet. thats pathetic, nobody would do that, right? Oh well.Side note, I do actually find the Qashqai weirdly fun to drive compared to the other SUVs in game probably due to it having CS tyres over the regular CM ones that the others have by default, please don't roast me...

Don't know how credible IGN is
That barely matters considering what's said. The whole segment is 13 seconds long and says:Don't know how credible IGN is
IGNPolyphony has been making Gran Turismo for 25 years now, so it would certainly be a shock to see it veer from that path in the near future. GT7 came out around three and a half years ago now, meaning maybe the time is approaching for the reveal of the studio's next racing sim.
The latest one was early last month. Don't know if there's another one later this year. When was the next first-party PlayStation State Of Play anyway?
Been there since the game was released! Pretty neat. The R8 Evo GT3 also has a changeable rear wing.I'm unsure when it was done, but I just noticed today you can change the rear wing on the 2016 Super GT GT500 cars from the narrow one to the wide version that was used at Fuji for the first few years of the ruleset and at all tracks since 2017.
Also worth noting that they (as well as the changeable rear wings on the R8 LMS Evo, Mazda3 Gr.4 and MP4/4) increase the maximum rear downforce you can apply by 150.I'm unsure when it was done, but I just noticed today you can change the rear wing on the 2016 Super GT GT500 cars from the narrow one to the wide version that was used at Fuji for the first few years of the ruleset and at all tracks since 2017.
It's amazing what 2 years can do in the GT Universe (GT6 to Sport). Back in 2015, you'd need a special G-Suit to drive the SRT Tomahawk GTS-R and X models. But because how far the human body developed in that universe in such a short time, you only need a FIA-approved racing suit to withstand the forces! Truly, the human bodies of the GT Universe are built different.I wish more helmet and suit brands would be added into the game
This, therefore, is Gran Turismo racing at its fastest and deadliest. It's amazing what 2 years can do in the GT Universe (GT6 to Sport). Well, that's all three now... 🤔
Sometimes. There really aren't set dates for new updates, and skipping months can and have happened.Has there ever been a late month update following an early month update?
Has there ever been a late month update following an early month update?
There was one in June and then a special "Ghost of Yotei" one just last month. The only major showcases left for the year tmu, are GamesCom this month (I don't know if Playstation is attending even though Xbox will have a big showcase), Tokyo Game Show (I'm pretty sure Sony did a big multi-event last year) & then the Video Game Awards. When was the next first-party PlayStation State Of Play anyway?
I seem to recall one of those times in GT Sport was when we got Autopolis & some cars (including the McLaren F1 GTR Short-Tail) early in the month, and then got the 2019 Super Formula cars at the end of the month.A couple of times, and during the GT sport era we got 2 updates in a month
It'll be September. When was the next first-party PlayStation State Of Play anyway?
