Well, that's all three now... 🤔
Are they really trying to claim that the N-One is the first Kei car to ever exist with FWD, a turbo, and a manual transmission? Seriously?

No I think it's just a half-omission, given the key detail is at the start of the post. Are they really trying to claim that the N-One is the first Kei car to ever exist with FWD, a turbo, and a manual transmission? Seriously?
The Daihatsu Midget II had a 4 speed manual for its entire production run, but I suspect a RWD kei truck isn't what you meant here.I think. Not sure if 4-speed Kei cars are a thing
Honda S660 is also 6-speed manual, isnt it? At least according to „gtplus app“ (great website btw).No I think it's just a half-omission, given the key detail is at the start of the post.
It is the first FWD Turbo 6-speed manual transmission Kei car.
Previous ones have been 5-speed mostly (I think. Not sure if 4-speed Kei cars are a thing).
It is, but it's also MR.Honda S660 is also 6-speed manual, isnt it? At least according to „gtplus app“ (great website btw).
That is hilariously specific. If only more people knew 😂It is, but it's also MR.
The N-One is the only one that is all of FF, turbo, 6-speed manual; which is what I think the marketing tweet is trying to convey.

Don't know how credible IGN is
It's probably because of technical reasons: the group category is a required property for "cars" in gt.Now that’s funny, road cars are categorised as “Gr.N”, sort of like GT Sport.

Maybe they’re doing that for GT8 or as an option to select by car category in custom race? Likely not just for the latter I’d imagine.
Fun fact: there’s an ultra rare 5 speed manuals out there capable of operating at US highway speeds. I can’t find any info on them, other than that one went through my local importer (and it had a few cosmetic modifications including but not limited to full astroturf flooring). The Daihatsu Midget II had a 4 speed manual for its entire production run, but I suspect a RWD kei truck isn't what you meant here.
Plugging Kudos Prime and gtplus, you might find them helpful as well. This is fantastic news! Now I can check a car's stock PP without having to boot the game. AND, it lets me view the cars' specs in sensible units like kg and kW. For some dog poo reason, PD thinks Singapore uses pounds for mass measurement...
I wish they could list down all the factory colours the cars come with, though. If they had that, I could achieve a clean break from the ad infested GT Wiki.
There's quite a lot of IDs missing so I wonder what they represent. All later cars are kinda bundled together, though not in a perfect order of release (Z-Tune is 3569, for example), but there are also cars like Alfa 155 (ID 365), TT '03 (ID 959), F1 GTR (ID 216), Z4 3.0i (ID 655), Camaro Z28 (ID 31), Chevelle (ID 36), etc. The car with lowest ID I could find is 180SX (ID 24). I wonder if those IDs are what the cars recieve internally when PD start working on them? It seems to make sense at least for last added cars, though it's kinda strange how the lowest is the car added in the last "proper" GT Sport content update. And that would imply there are over 3500 entries of cars, which sounds kinda unrealistic, unless a lot of them just have an entry with a name and that's about it (which actually might be possible I guess, considering what dataminers were saying about leaked car lists, but over 3500?).I checked so you don't have to: No, they haven't accidentally leaked any cars by uploading the car thumbnails early - car3575 and every ID from 3577 on does not have an image uploaded (3576 is the N-One).
It'll start from GT4 and returning cars take their old slots, yeah. There's quite a lot of IDs missing so I wonder what they represent. UPD: Actually, looking at the list of cars with low IDs, it seems like all those cars once were in GT3/GT4, so maybe the entries are from over 20 years ago and they just use the same ID if they update the model?
That's kinda fun to know, not really important, but fun. Also, it pretty much confirms they are not holding back any of the cars, at least none of the new to the series, and the cars are actually being released when they are done. Currently missing car 3575 will most likely show up in a next update or two (maybe it's the Xiaomi?).It'll start from GT4 and returning cars take their old slots, yeah.
The Chevelle being that low an ID means it can't be any earlier, it debuted in GT4. And I'm pretty sure I remember reading back when Nenkai was on the scene that they completely overhauled how they stored their cars between GT3/Concept and 4.
Just when I thought everyone knew that the RX-Vision GT3 (and the RX-Vision by extension) isn't a Vision GT car...
