BMW 635 E24 (Road/Europe/Used/All-New), or Alpina B7 of same because "someone" at PD has/had one
Would this mean there would be a new mfg brand in the mix for Alpina? Or will it fall in with the rest of BMW?

Alpina is a car manufacturer. So it’d be a new brand like Ruf.
If it is a manufacturer, then why do they all have BMW roundels on their bonnets and on the boot?

It’s BMW ALPINA. They have Alpina badges as well. Some Alpinas have Alpina VIN numbers and BMW VIN numbers.

Edit: To take it back a bit, when we had the Toyota Surveys, ALPINA is listed separate from BMW, as a brand players could tick they were interested in.

ok thank you for the clarification

PD posted pics of the Vantage from the last update on Instagram.

I read here that usually this means the silhouette update is near?

Hm, we didn't have an American car for quite a while. We know PD doesn't hesitate to add somewhat strange cars. And I guess Uncle Elon is trying to push a certain car, 'cause it's no secret that it doesn't sell at all.

I have a bad feeling about this😟😄

As they have no marketing department of which to speak, it's probably not a concern.

That said, he does self-identify as a gamer - though he is more like when you give a toddler a non-functional controller to keep them occupied and engaged while you play the game. In fact I'm surprised, given that he pays people to be good at the game so he can take credit and pretend it's him, he didn't qualify for GTWS with Renault.

- BMW 635. I’m thinking a regular one and not the M635 CSi just because it could be either like we have both E30, both CSL models and in the datamine, PD have both 2002 Tii and Turbo models.
I don't know how I missed this from you and @Famine earlier.

THIS WOULD BE ME FOR LIKE THREE HOURS A DAY.

Regards Alpina, they are now a subsidiary of BMW, whereas before (and possibly when the Toyota survey was live) they were an independent manufacturer. So it's possible they would be added under BMW, the same way the European Fords are lumped in with the parent company.

So with the review posts starting for the cars in the last update, I predict the update on May 1 with the following:

Chevy Corvette C5 - the missing Vette
Honda HR-V - the CR-V is too lame to go with the recent CUVs added

And I have nothing for the Euro and/or Legend pick.

We will not get any new GT3 cars until GT8. All of the ones we have are what was available/homologated (and licensed) when GT Sport was being developed. I assume the Evo's we have were in active development at the time and were able to be licensed also.

Your guess is as good as mine, but I doubt it’s this early in may. My guess would be the 15th (which would still be early all things considered).

The social media pattern is not where I’d needs to be for silhouettes to drop tomorrow.

Yes, 4 cars on May 15th, then pause until end of June for the possible big update including a track, to be showcased with a trailer in London on early June, just as was done with Eiger is my guess

My predictions, given the patterns of the most recent updates and Kaz's car choices (four cars):

Honda Vezel Hybrid Modulo X '19 - Kaz has begun to add new SUV's (starting with the Lamborghini Urus), but he has also included economy crossovers, and given that vehicles such as the Toyota C-HR, Mazda CX-30 and Suzuki Jimny Sierra have been added lately, the Honda Vezel Hybrid Modulo X (HR-V in other countries) would make sense.

Hyundai N Vision 74 '22 - Given Polyphony's strong partnership with Hyundai even after the official Manufacturers Cup partnership with Genesis has ended, the N Vision 74 would be ideal for the next update, to celebrate the Hyundai N brand, and that a real RC version of this car is a reward for winning a Hyundai-sponsored time trial event.

Koenigsegg Jesko Attack '21 - If Kaz still won't add a race car this time around, he could at least add one car that's surely going to provide some positive feedback with this update, with the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack, scratching the itch for the hypercars and exotics crowd and finally giving in to the fans' demand for Koenigsegg to be featured. Also to make up for adding the Renault Kangoo from the previous update, and not to mention, even if it may be a long shot, it could be a fitting rival to the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STI '10 - Ever since day one of the game, a 3D model of this car was always seen in GT Auto, but never seen in actual gameplay as a fully complete car. It is apparently on the datamine, however, and one more Subaru won't hurt.

No new track, however, expect GT Sophy support to be expanded, as well as new engine swaps, Scapes and race events.

If i have to take a random guess, assuming we're getting 4 cars:

Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster
We haven't gotten a Porsche in a while and if we do get one, i don't think it would be another road-legal 911. I would imagine 718's arrival to be inevitable, sooner or later. If not in GT7 then likely in GT8, whenever that comes out.

Subaru Impreza WRX STi '10
As others have mentioned, it's on the datamined list and it's a continuation of adding different generations of existing models (like what we seen with the Evo's). Also, it would be a returning car from the PS3 era.

Hyundai Kicks Kona
Continuing the trend of a Crossover/SUV/oddballers. I was going to suggest Renault Avantime but a Renault "oddballer" already appeared in the last update. This guess is the one I'm least sure about. It could be anything from a Land Cruiser LC76 Station Wagon to a Fiat Panda for all i know. Maybe instead it would be that Delorean-looking EV concept they had?

Ford RS200 Rally Car '85
Already appeared in previous GT entries and it's a Group B rally car to boot.

the 205 threw me that they actually included it, disappointed it was a pre face lift model (orange indicators)

I often think a V10 beemer would be nice but the 5 series (M) and the 6 series (M) are probably not that iconic to most of the player base.

So based on the previous updates, iconic cars (e36 m3, 205, 190 cossie etc) it really would surprise me if something like a Clio Williams or R19 16v was a car

There is a real lack of SEAT/Cupra cars as well and there is a brand relationship with VAG, and being honest the Skoda thing was rubbish considering we could of had both the Fabio and Octavia vRS cars :/

So I predict the following:

90s hot hatch, left field a Renault 5 GT Turbo Raider, more plausible than a nova GSI and less likely than a MK2 Golf GTI 16v

The missing MX5 that nobody wants apart from the people that have them

Cyber truck…..because GT do GT things

Hyundai I30N l, it’s a clear class rival to the golf and the focus
