Not necessarily. Remember that Forza Motorsport 3 (or was it 4?) had a porsche dlc WHILE ea had the exclusive rights to porsche cars (and licenses).
So far no car manufacturer or game publisher made their license agreements public so license discussions will always be educated guesses at best.
It's extraordinarily unlikely that EA hold an license exclusively for that particular car when they have approximately zero games that would use it. I get your point with Forza but even then, the spending power of Microsoft who could then charge us for the privilege of having it made that a very different scenario.

So, any clues on the unannounced 4 cars?
I'd like for them to be kept a secret until the content is released and am hoping there is good reason why they haven't been revealed. The 4 cars currently revealed all add something exciting to their respective classes and the Spec II update cars were nearly all excellent. 🤞

I totally agree. It would be nice to not find until Spec III drops 😁

Even the event structures of GT1 (practice/qualifying optional, grid start races) is something I'd prefer personally.
100%

My main issue with the championships (single player) is the lack of practice/qualifying. It's an odd omission. Currently If you want to do a championship, you need to check what tracks are in said championship, and then utilize the time trial mode to practice the individual tracks before joining the championship.

Furthermore, having more grid start races would be excellent, as long as the AI is good enough to allow for more than a lap or two before taking the lead.

With one Mitsubishi in the update it's probably too much to ask for another, but there is one particular SUV this game needs

Got to see one of these in person (in the classic Mitsubishi red) up here at the Dragon. Can't seem to find the picture I got but maybe I deleted it. That thing has a presence. It's waaay cooler and bad ass in person than I expected one to be.

An old Delica would be cool. Not a Mitubishi but one of those Mazda MPV things or the supercharged Toyota Sienna?

I'm down for cool weird "non-sports" cars.. Just not modern ones that have no history, soul and aren't interesting lol
