For every update released, there is the potential for changes not listed in the initial patch notes. Please report any undocumented changes you find in the current update and I'll update the OP as much as possible to reflect those changes found.

1. It is encouraged that you make an effort in verifying these changes as much as possible, either through videos or images.
2. If you need help from the community to verify something, don't be afraid to ask.
3. It is strongly advised that you be as specific and detailed as possible with the information including a brief description of the bug or improvement before it was fixed/changed (if applicable) and how. If English is not your first language that's ok, just do it to the best of your ability.

THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD ABOUT THE OFFICIAL CHANGES Only any changes not listed on the official site are discussed here
THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD ABOUT THE PROS AND CONS OF THE UPDATE or anything else other than undocumented changes in the update. Keep those strictly to the appropriate threads:

Now you may post.

Looks like PD fixed an issue I was having with cross Load Settings of my Custom Races. Some races from one of my alternative accounts was loading in my main account and vice versa. All good now.

Do you consider a new real-life manufacturer colour as part of the undocumented changes? If so, there may be a new Ferrari colour coming along with the 812’s inclusion: Azzurro California. It’s worth repeating that I’m only basing on myself for this statement, and I solely relied on Gran Turismo Wiki and the Brand Central for searching pre-existing Ferrari colours on cars that AFAIK may have the colour already. It’s not yet available for purchase separately. But it’s worth looking into, I think.

When did they fix the tire icons for the AI cars during pit stops? I did the WTC 700 weekly race last night, and when all the AI cars pitted in the rain, the icons changed from S/M/H (entering the pits) to IM (leaving the pits). For the longest time, you only saw what tires they had entering the pits?

I think this is track-dependent behaviour rather than something they've changed.

My understanding is the tyre graphic changes to the new tyre for the period where the car is in auto-drive (the bit where you're forced into cockpit view - not the cutscene parts for the DLC tracks) and then disappears when you have control. This goes for the AI too. At Red Bull Ring, you have to go around turn 1 in that state, so the tyre graphic stays for a while. At somewhere like Sardegna or St Croix where you're back in control almost immediately, it's not up for more than a flash.

Great observation, makes perfect sense!

As noted in this excellent thread by J24681357, the exploit for forcing Sophy into incompatible cars in Custom Races have now been patched out.

This next bit is much less certain, so I'd like to start a discussion about it: I feel that there has been a physics tweak in 1.59, as the Ferrari 308 I've been running very recently suddenly felt much easier to drive with much less power oversteer, translating to a half second quicker lap time around Laguna Seca. Does anyone else feel that the physics have changed in v1.59?

There's a link to the Physics thread in the OP if you want to discuss that.

Man this sentence damn near made my heart stop. I thought you were going to say we finally got MNPIII.
Yeah, I looked back at the comment, and thought to myself, maybe I shouldn't have posted this here, considering how easy it is to get a new colour with the addition of a new car. New paint chips are a different thing though!

Maybe someone else can toss their opinions in on this one, but in the livery editor, does everything seem lower res now?

Since 1.59 the 2 thumb rotary buttons doesn t work very well on Fanatec formula wheels , I have the issue and confirmed in Fanatec forum
not just the thumbs - the funky hat switch rotation is broken as well on all the wheels - used to work the hud zoom quite well

There is a link to bugs thread in the OP to report all these issues.

there's something odd happening with H-pattern gear changes. Coming into a big braking zone in 4th, I change straight down to second. It used to be the car would immediately change to 2nd, rev at about a million until the engine was at the right speed and then drop down.

now, the car stays in neutral until the road speed : revs are appropriate, then switches to 2nd, clutch dumps and (if I'm already turning in) tries to spin the car. It doesn't seem to happen if you're going down one gear at a time, and it doesn't happen if you use the paddles to shift.

yes I saw this too - dump the gear down a couple:

under braking and it waits for the max speed in the chosen gear to engage the clutch

under throttle it pings the rev limiter

off throttle it goes to idle until speed drops below max for the chosen gear then engages

add throttle back and it pings. Add brake and it waits

not sure of the intent of the change but it was not any more realistic before - drop into any gear way over redline and you’ll damage the engine or trans - too bad that’s not in the damage enabled behavior
