Doing the new K-Cup race makes me have to question: Why on earth is this kind of racing completely missing from Sport Mode?

They're super fun to throw around at 400PP, you can race them quite easily, it's a unique sector no other game touches, it's super on-brand for the series. It solves the track repeating issue, because you can actually use tracks like Eiger and the short Maggiore layouts at this size of car. I'm not saying open tuning, I get that open tuning doesn't work for the GT online audience, but provide two or three 400PP tunes for each kei car and run a race in them every couple of months or so, it'd be super fun.
Unfortunately the Daily Races are all about metrics, and every time they've attempted something more interesting with the races, the player numbers go way down. That's how we've ended up with nothing but Gr.3/4 slop for the entire lifecycle of this game.

I got my mitts on the CR-V last night and to my surprise, it wasn't a complete disaster to drive. Sporty? Hardly, but it managed to take most corners around Catalunya without too much trouble. The gearbox is definitely interesting but I'm not complaining because it makes the CH-R feel like a piece of junk. Also, when I went out to my local Westfield yesterday, I think I spotted 9 CR-Vs - most of which in the parking lot. I also saw some Tesla Model 3s, Mazda CX-30s, Toyota CH-Rs, Mazda 3s, Toyota Hiaces, and Honda Jazzes. NONE of these cars are in Forza. I just think it's neat for GT to include cars that I can see whenever I leave the house. PD have to keep going down this path!

I‘m actually warming up to the Suzuki Carry. I didn‘t like it at first („meme car“ etc.) but it‘s actually fun to drive when fully modified since it weighs so little.

I also made a Yamato Transport version for it (link here)!

I finally got a chance to try out the the update cars. C5 is very stable and easy to drive stick form. The 812 was fun and very fast. Finally I took the Carry out. Maxed and made it as a racing truck. TBH that was probably my favorite vehicle out of the bunch. It is so fun to drive. I think I will buy a few more for a custom series

I just have a question about this section, I can't seem to find answers anywhere else. What exactly does this mean? I have the T598 and the only change I have noticed is that after the update, my gear jolt stops working in some races..

Other Improvements and Adjustments
1. Controllers
 - Improved encoder dial response for the following steering controllers:
  ・THRUSTMASTER® T-GT
  ・THRUSTMASTER® T598

I tried the Honda CR-V from the recent update today and tbh I don’t see the point of having this car in the game. It‘s a slow, anemic boat and what‘s even worse, we can neither modify nor engine swap it. It looks so badass with the Pikes Peak aero parts installed but tops out at like 190 Kph.

I usually don't like to leave a brand new car sleeping in the garage. The CR-V black edition will be the first exception. braking is a nightmare...
Thanks for your great C5-R liveries!

The response of the blue/red/yellow/green rotary dials on the standard T-GT/T-GTII and the hypercar/EVO rims for the T598 wheels have been tweaked so that they don't skip as much (one click = one click, not two or none) as before.
I wonder if they goofed and made a global change rather than brand specific change - the Fanatec Porsche VGT wheel got noticeably worse

Thank you 😁

Dumb question - how does one get that rear tube structure on the Suzuki Carry? I didn't see it in any of the options in GT Auto.
I think switching to wide bodykits can change the available visual changes. Had this with the De Tomaso Pantera, iirc, where the cosmetics were a lot different after I installed the wide upgrades and it had more capacity for downforce.

You need to first widebody the vehicle. Once you do, the body kit options change. You will also be granted access to most of the rims available in the game. Before you add the widebody, the rim selection is pathetic.

All I have found is that since this update, my T-GT constantly either disconnects or loses all FFB.

They really need to stop messing with things that work just fine.. they always f something up trying to fix or improve something.. it's like they almost don't run any tests before they roll out an update 🥲
