I'm gonna guess the GT-ONE will cost around $10,000,000, more than the CLK-LM but less than the F1 GTRs, I could hopefully be wrong as there isn't any public figures for the lone privately owned one but I can't see it being worth anymore or less than the 10s of millions, if it won Le Mans then maybe but even then that seems to have no effect on the price of newer cars moreso the older ones like the 917k. Then again it could be worth as low as $5,000,000 as the 787B, Sauber C9, 962 and XJR-9 are all Le mans winners and aren't worth nearly as much but the GT1 era cars tend to go for more IRL which is what PD bases their prices off; just glad to finally be getting a new GT1 era car, will definitely BOP it into Gr.2 custom races along with a heavily BOP'd roadcar version probably with added ballast and lower grade tires.

@bluealpine Absolutely.Ford did there own take on it by fitting a Cosworth V8 into a Group C chassis with a fibreglass bodyshell. If i remember correctly the original Mk1 Transit had a standard steel bodyshell with a GT40 chassis and engine.Somebody put me right if i missed anything.

Did someone say TOYOTA TS020, my dreams are finally coming true for GT7....

I'm cautiously optimistic that there is some correlation between the Escudo appearing in the LCD at the same time meaning there is some kind of tribute to Gran Turismo 2 incoming, as the GT-One and Escudo were the two best cars in that game. With that in mind, there are a few first-in GT2 tracks that seem to fit -

Redrock Valley
Midfield Raceway
Pikes Peak

I would be thrilled with any of them.

I'm not saying I'm disappointed, but the fact the newest Lamborghini available in GT7 is from 2016 is a bit saddening. A Urus S or Urus Performante would've been better but nope, we get a car from 8 years ago as "new". It also means this car was scanned during the GT Sport days. Who knows how many other cars PD will dripfeed us, and then suddenly end game access because GT8 was released. Hey at least it's an actual car we can have fun with instead of another VGT.

What if Apricot Hill returns and next week's TT will be a tribute to the S10 License in GT2. One can dream...

Yes, much like the GT-One was scanned in the GT2 days. The Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer was scanned all the way back in 1929! Why did PD wait so long to add it? How long will the dripfeed continue?!

Glad to see the GT One come back to GT. It's one of the icon of the series. If only they can bring back the FTO LM Edition. Hopefully we also have some good engine swaps like a Clio engine in the R4

What if we got Paul Ricard?

I mean, it’s another “French” circuit after the last one(even though it’s in the Americas). It’s a legendary circuit. Pretty much a test track when the GT-One debuted. It would be brand new to the franchise. It’s pretty much a GT circuit for GT3 and GT4 race cars. Categories that cater to the bread and butter Sport Mode races.

Lisan Al' Gaib , it was prophetized !

In all due fairness, a new track would only be a surprise for me only if it is a real world circuit. If another track is added to GT7 it has all chance of being a fictionnal one. Either from the old catalogue re-made like Grand Valley in a "real" world setting or totally new to the serie.

Man I really wishes we could know how PDi manage their circuits and cars asset. I mean do they keep their track intel up to date regardless of licensing? I mean I am so curious of how the kitchen operate. It would be easier to understand how they plan things for their audience... what we can reasonnably expect and can't.
I am sure that all those track data are not scraped and that they don't rebuild everything from the ground up perpetually.
For car model we have some ideas but as for tracks...

The TSO20 has been a long time coming so I'm not surprised to see it, but what I am surprised to see is the Urus. It actually sounds kinda... good? I mean I'd much rather see the Aventador SVJ but I really want to know how an SUV handles in this game.

You know I was thinking with all the posts about is it Group 1 or Group 2 from members on this forum. Couldn't PD just add a new GT1 category now that we have 4 GT1 race cars and 1 GT1 road car? Perhaps the 911 GT1 could be BOP'd into contention somehow. 5 GT1 cars is a decent field, even if they are a bit all over the place. Better than stuffing them into prototype class or the really all over the place Group 2.

Maybe a Jeep Trackhawk will be next.

If we’re being silly then i want a box truck. 14ft reefers! ~ish. It’s a rear wheel drive torque-y clown show when empty!

Besides, they are in the dakar rally. Which frankly surprised the heck out of me. I’d totally drive one of those suckers in a rally. It would be bonkers.
