All I can say is that GT7s first update better be amazing!

I was playing GT7 yesterday and I saw that the Ferrari 500 Mondial appeared in the Legendary Car Dealership for $4,000,000 dollars as began to grind for some cash I realized the best events had their prizes cut and I worked out it was going to take me 5 hours to get enough money to purchase the vehicle. So I came to the conclusion that this is unobtainable and I don't have 5 hours to grind for one car. Update 1.07 is Garbage

Improvements for needed for GT7
-Better paying events.
-Ability to sell cars, including prize cars (Thats right, you cant sell cars in a car game, What?)
-More campaign missions I'm almost finished already, (GT4, GT5 and GT6 had way longer campaigns)
-What about manufacturer specific events in Brand Central? (Like GT4, Mercedes owners club, Club RX etc.)
-Used car dealer needs to refresh more often (I've purchased all cars available now I need to wait until tomorrow for one more new classic "yawn"!!)
-Access to my Personal garage in split screen mode (my brother and I used to have challenges with the used car dealers in GT4, building cars to a budget then battling them in races to see who got the better deal)
-Bring back the VR, GT Sport was the best VR Game (now there's new cars and tracks and no VR?)
-Where's the classic events from GTs Past (K-Car Cup, MR Challenge, British Cars, Turbo Sports, NA Cup etc.)

Tommorows classic will probably be something you already own unfortunatly or something new enough to get at brand central its really an awful concept. 75% of the cars i get i either got from the menu books or is post 2001 so its available all the time.. If they stick with the used car dealer thing they first off need to let us also be used car dealers and sell our own cars either an auction house or quick sell for half the value or whatever.. If you didnt like that 4 million dollar ferrari or 18million porsche atleast let us recoupe something from them lmao.. They also MUST stop taking spaces in the used car dealership with post 2001 cars since this game has been released ive had 50% or more newer cars in there

Come on... Im still pissed that they are not caring about the Lobbies.

It is such a trash, that we cant upload/save/edit a configuration before and after created a lobby...

Another lame is when BoP is turned ON and Tunning are prohibited, we cant change brakes to rear or front when racing... this is sad... But with BoP turned ON, and tunning are open... we can do it with the brakes... but it opens us, all the other advanced car configurations... This Is so confusing.

If talking about new to series cars, its very bleak and hard to predict. However, surveys (2019 GR Supra survey, 2020 Toyota Market research, 2020 RX-Vision survey) had some interesting options.

JGTC, GTE, GT3, GT4, rally, NASCAR and so on versions of these

I posted this here since I don't want to post too much successively in GT7 prediction thread.

You forgot player preferred optional changes for PP limits and tyre restriction. Those are essential, because that is what made GT3/GT4/GT5 fun.

Gran Turismo 7: An update from Polyphony Digital

Kazunori Yamauchi
President of Polyphony Digital, Creator of Gran Turismo

Dear Gran Turismo Community,

Thank you for your continued support and feedback on Gran Turismo 7, your voices have not gone unheard. I would like to apologize for the frustration and confusion caused last week with our patch updates which resulted in, not only a server outage but also adjustments to the in-game economy which were made without a clear explanation to our community.

We know that this is not the Gran Turismo experience you expect and we will be making a goodwill gesture in the form of a non-paid credit pack of 1 million Cr. available to those players who may have been affected*. You will see this hit your accounts shortly. Make sure you log into the game before April 25 to claim the credits.

The patch update previously deployed was intended to rectify an issue with inconsistent reward payouts within a part of the World Circuit Events. But, to re-establish the intended equilibrium and provide more accurate rewards based on time investment and completion, it was necessary to recalculate the rewards system as a whole.

To improve the player experience, we will be rolling out a considerable patch in the beginning of April. The number of events will be increased, and we will reestablish the reward system with greater balance throughout the game to benefit all players.

Updates which will come into effect beginning of April:

・Increase rewards in the events in the latter half of the World Circuits by approximately 100% on average.
・Addition of high rewards for clearing the Circuit Experience in all Gold/All Bronze results.
・Increase of rewards in Online Races.
・Include a total of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have higher reward settings.
・Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr.
・Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time.

Beyond this there will be a few additional patches deployed between now and the end of April which will add new cars and course layouts and make some other fixes.

Finally, we also want to take the opportunity to lay out some of the near-term updates we are working on. We can’t confirm an exact date or specifics yet, but will give advance notice via www.gran-turismo.com.

・Increase the payout value of limited time rewards as we develop as a live service.
 ・Further World Circuit event additions.
・Addition of Endurance Races to Missions including 24-hour races.
・Addition of Online Time Trials and awarding of rewards according to the player’s difference with the top ranked time.
・Make it so cars can be sold.

We want to thank you for your continued patience and valuable feedback as we grow and evolve GT7 to make it as enjoyable and rewarding for as many players as possible. We always want to keep communication lines open with our community so that we can work together to build the best racing experience possible.

*Limit 1 per person. Must own a digital or physical copy of GT7 for PS4 or PS5 prior to the publication of this post (Friday, 25 March at 1:00am PST) and log into Gran Turismo 7 between Friday, March 25 at 5:00pm JST/8:00am GMT/ 1:00am PDT and Monday, April 25 at 5:00pm JST/8:00am GMT/ 1:00am PDT to receive the free credit pack.

Is there any news on Lotus coming back? It is the only car I miss in the game, and was hoping so much it would return after GT Sport left it out. It seems to be quiet around the issue. After seeing the Elise S1 at the launch in Frankfurt in 95’, I‘ve always wanted one. I drove it throughout the GT series, and in 2009 I finally bought one. Drove it directly from the dealer in the UK, to the Nurburgring. I was in love. But also amazed at how accurate the game had captured its driving characteristics. I felt at home and familiar at once. I have been racing the Elise S1 ever since, and to me, there is nothing as much fun on short and twisty tracks. Only getting a few track days in these days, with young kids and all, so it would be great to have a digital getaway to enjoy it a bit more. Fingers crossed it will come, but I fear I will have to change to the platform we don’t speak of, to drive a Lotus again.

I would love to see Lotus in GT7 , but checking the Forza list today i can say i prefer no Lotus than Lotus without any Elise model at first.

Lotus (3)

  • Lotus 77 #5 Team Lotus 1976
  • Lotus Emira 2023
  • Lotus Evija 2020
Also would love the Lotus hotwheel concept
