With the release of the new Nissan Leaf G (GT Academy) '11, can the normal (DLC) Nissan Leaf G '11 stand up to it?

We put both cars in a series of challenges to find out which is the best. Although there's not a lot of differences between the two, both have the same amount of BHP, weight (KG) & power to weight ratio. The only differences are, the looks (Un-missable GT Academy logos) & in PP (Performance Points). The GT Academy has 334PP While the Normal version has 333PP. Maybe that extra 1PP will give the GT Academy Nissan Leaf the edge it needs? Or does the Normal Nissan Leaf have any hidden potential?

Since the day I got all of my Stealth Models & bought the normal variations, I've been wondering which is the faster one. The Mazda 787B Race Car or Mazda 787B Stealth, sure the stealth models all have more BHP than the normal variations, but will this power difference mean total domination for the 787B Stealth? Or will the 787B Race Car out handle it's way in the corners? Wonder no more as we put these two amazing machines head-to-head in our episode 2 of arch battles! Sit back, Relax & Enjoy! Today we put two latest supercars from Ferrari & McLaren, with a long racing history pedigree from both makes. Which shall be crowned the winner? The 458 has 38BHP less than the MP4-12C, it also weights 135Kg more than the Mclaren. So will the MP4-12C walk over the 458? Or will the 458 defeat it's giant rival? Find out! So you literally have to hit accelerate on both pads at the same time! lol Looks very exact when they launch, almost suggesting it was done another more clever way.

If you ever do a Veyron vs Mclaren F1, the Veyron accelerates unrealistically in GT5 - too fast, and way quicker than the actual recorded times. The GT5 Veyron needs to loose 200bhp to make it accelerate realistically.

I always wondered how the drag teams do their drag races considering the cars start staggered, so if done your way both would be required to hit the accelerate together! lol

If you ever do a Veyron vs Mclaren F1, the Veyron accelerates unrealistically in GT5 - too fast, and way quicker than the actual recorded times. The GT5 Veyron needs to loose 200bhp to make it accelerate realistically.

There are three methods that I know of 1). Countdown is done through the headset. 2). Both drivers line up side by side, once in position one of the drivers writes go in 30 which refers to the "total time in a lobby in seconds", as the driver writes that the total time is (example 13:12.942 | both drivers wait until the total time shows 13:30.000 which then they accelerate). & 3). Requires a ref car, 2 drivers are lined up side by side while the "ref" car goes in front of both of them, facing them. when everyone is ready the driver of the "ref" car turns into "ghost", that's the sign for the other 2 drivers to go . Hope that explains it 👍

Most likely I will, as those two great machines are icons & record breakers . Yeah, I've noticed that. It's because PD messed up alot of cars transmission ratios. When I get around to doing Veyron Vs F1, I'll be sure to drop 200bhp of from it . Thanks for the reminder 👍

That's a great suggestion , hopefully it will allow me to change time settings in split screen

It would be really cool if you could add the times for the drag race and Top Gear track and of course the top speed of the cars you achieved. For the drag race you could use one marker of your choice and note the speed at that point. You can do that easily on youtube itself, so you can add it also for your older comparison videos. 👍

Oh and also, I'll subscribe, I do that VERY rarely on youtube, mind you. 👍

Concerning my suggestion: Look, I really don't wanna be annoying, but it's really a matter of a few minutes and it greatly increases the quality of the videos, it makes them so much more interesting (imo).

Also great work on the update, though, as I already said, you can easily add the stats into the video itself on youtube under the options. 👍


Enzo vs. F1 and LP670 vs. SLR McLaren should be reconsidered I think, I relly feel the Enzo is no match for the mighty F1 and the Merc is defo no match for the insane LP670, just little suggestions though, no hard feelings. 👍
Oh and yeah the Veyron DESTROYS the Speed 12 totally...

Here's my Nordschleife laps in HD with ALL major fast supercars, it's a top 55 of road cars, maybe it can be an inspiration for your comparisons...
