Looks amazing. But I don't think you should change the settings icon to an engine. :P
 
back here for a few mins and yeah, i agree godzilla, i just need someone to make a picture of it (my digicam is broken so that is really really not helpful ;()

Basically I'm thinking to change make the basic XMB (horizontal) in outline just like i did above and the vertical ones for subsettings in regular "plain colors" because with the tiny details on the sub settings it might be a bit too confusing, I don't know.

Could you get me a pic of the advanced options icons of GT5P? (anyone?)

I'm starting the work on the background too! Should have a picture up asap (any requests? like i was thinking GTR or the new evo X for the background car or something more classy like just the gt logo and some fancy stuff, i'm nto sure yet)

Are you even able to change the playstation network icon?? I thought it stayed the same on the XMB whatever theme you use..... it would be great to change it because its really ugly!

Having the GTR would look the best for a background I reacon, seeing as its all GT5 tied in!

Well yes i know it's locked but i thought what the hell i had the base already, but i'm going to play around with the xml file see if i can force the theme to use it instead of the default one (who knows?) :P


I'm actually playing around to make this kinda PD'ish background, clean simple with shades of black and the shadow of the car :) I've got the logos done for everything, just need to find the perfect arrangements for it (and find the best GTR pic :P)
 
ive got a GTR background(might even be 1080P)i'll upload in a min, it even has something to do with PD. I'll try and get some GT5:P pic's for you either tonight or tomorrow.

Ok i had this idea but i don't know how it's turning out instead of the arrow for the system update icon i thought a kinda of gas-gauge or something would look cool (what do you think?)

Now the the whole XMB horizontal icons are done, i just got all the rest to do (except the music one i have to remake because i agree it kinda suck and i want a better one :P)

Here it is, you could use the top half. Would look awsome behind that. Or just use a few of the little square's and make your own, or layer a few of them(namely the engine and interior) over top of the main, top bit(front and back).

anyway, i like the idea behind the gas guage, but i don't think that guage suit's it to well. Need a more simplistic one imho

theme is good but im not fond of any of the themes with the circle orb around the icon, i think without it it would be PERFECT

Ok I decided to switch and just make the XMB horizontal icons with an orb and make the sub ones (except some like add user) with a base circle solid shape and full white icons inside :)

I'm compiling the theme atm just to check how it looks on my tv! :)

Firefox FTW... but seeing as it in't really Firfox, and isn't a car theme... how about making some kind of GPS Navigation icon for the Web Browser icon? :)

Just made it my wallaper, and looks great in 1080p. 👍
 
ok so the four logos aren't cut or anything? all good then i can start to work on the wallpaper properly! :D

By the way, I just edited new "user or account" icons (I got 3 accounts EU/US/JP and all of them got custom icons but i thought i would make something that matches this GT theme)

this is looking very sexy so far, I really think the colored flag user account icons will really look good if I can figure out how to incorporate them
 
easiest method is to use the web browser to download each of them, then login into your account and then push triangle... then "information" and click on the picture and just select the new picture from your image folder and TADAAAAM! it's there, just log into your other account and do the same :)
