Toyota and PD's strong relationship and GT's history of debuting Toyota cars near the real things' launch dates, I think the GR GT3 just fits too neatly into the pattern to ignore. What's more, Spec IV Part 1 brought us the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo '26, and speculation that these cars share a platform are just too strong for me to dismiss. It's always bugged me why the RX-Vision had such a long bonnet to house a relatively tiny Rotary Engine. Heck, the RX-V Evo with its livery stripped away is also bare carbon, just like the GR GT3 seen above...
Not exactly the same car obviously, but I think Forza Horizon 6 holds an exclusive license for GR GT as it's cover car, at least for period of time, 6 months to a year usually. That's usually the deal with forza cover cars, they can't appear in other games for some time.

Yeah, but that car is licensed under the "GR GT concept/prototype" name in FH6, so you never know. I could see Toyota happily giving PD the license for the GT3 version

I finally had the time for my first livery for the Step Wgn:

My own take on a fictional Spoon Sports Pikes Peak Supervan, based on Ford’s legendary Transit Supervans. Fitting for the 1400 HP Maverick engine swap!

Wow I did not know it had these parts lol. I like that PD are going for more fun, if less realistic/common modifications. Just as long as they do have at least one more realistic option.

There’s still a lot of multi-million credit cars I don’t own, including the GT1, and very few of the ones I do have had me throwing them through GT Auto or the livery editor yet. Usually when I go into the livery editor I’m going all-out with something pretty detailed and/or I’ve customized the car a lot already, so I’m not paying close attention to the logos or badges I’ve lost. There’s absolutely a high chance I missed a number of cars that lose badging when painted.

I personally think it’s more likely that people have experienced the de-badging on some cars and assume it’s a universal function for all badges on all cars, and have an aversion to painting. I’m pretty sure there’s plenty of cars that have zero changes in the livery editor that you’d never be able to tell if someone sent it through GT Auto, I don’t understand why it’s inconsistent.

It’s me, Mr. Madman.
I really wish they’d give the option to keep the stripes and stuff on the vehicles with an option to change the colour of the car and the stripes. I’d even just take the car colour.

As for the car viewer, I really think it should have been available to users viewing your car in showcase. It’s basically the livery editor for your own personal use with some different lighting. How about we get the option to spin and twirl our friends liveries in car viewer?

Other weird things happen with the livery editor and showcase. I had a trans am firebird, looked great. White lettering on tires. Go into showcase and that’s gone completely yet it shows up everywhere else. And I bought a firebird with black grill specifically but after sharing to showcase it defaults to all the paint options and defaults onto a gold grill.

So the car looks great in the thumbnail but you click on it and the grille switches to gold and it loses the white lettering on the tires. Lol
