I would be surprised if this system isn't being constantly reviewed and revised due to beta racing and feedback.
So it's probably too early to cast judgement yet.

I must say that pushing other cars of the track and collision with other cars dont decrease your SR... from my point of view its only when we go off track
 
Well had a play last night, could not play before as I had been away over at the Nordschleife & Spa, was not great weather but still worth going even if I was itching to play GTsport lol. was great on the 4k but I have been playing PCars for so long now I didnt find GTsport was any better than GT6. well need to play more I guess.

Hey guys, just a question I'm wondering since I can't check it out myself at this point but how many cars are in the beta so far? I have around 35 currently from last time I checked, Is there anymore?

That's about it. About 7 N300 cars, 8 GR.4 cars and about 20 or so GR.3 cars

I know the feeling. Took me 2 weeks to get the gtr and i still didn't get the n300 lancer
 
I've just got it now. First lap at Dragon was a 58. Not bad for very first lap. It has potential.

1:50.383 for 1st on Dragon Trail, shame its such a one car dependent event.

Guys, after more than one month of the beta in general how far in development you think GTS it is?
Can they still squeeze out some power for AA, still make some improvements in sound department?
Finally make more cardboard trees than those ten models used repeatedly(at least that should be easy)?

Dragon and BH was fun racing. But Nordschleife is only hotlapping for me. Too many racers like to kick you off track and then your race is completely ruined. On smaller tracks you can fight back up to the front (if you're fast enough :scared:) but Nords is just lap1 in this beta so a no go in online for me....yes I'm frustrated again. Just gave Nords another try in race 1. After two minutes I was pushed in the forest again :mad::ouch:

Yeah, I didn't run Nordschleife either, but I thought most were slightly better behaved tonight. Still the odd rammer, but maybe the higher SR that I've now got helps get rid of the rammers and blockers.

No one can answer this except PD. But months of development will come with changes especially optimization.
 
Hi,

this SR-system is a piece of crap. Only crash-kids on the road tonight. Very frustrating, online-racing in open lobbys is as useless as before.

Ah ok so is there 2 dragon trail events up now? Ealier i saw n300 at nurb, gr.4 at brans and gr.3 at dragon trail sorry if im being very stupid.

Try improve your time lap in qualifying to avoid the crash-kids lobbys.
 
People expect the ranking system to work at the beginning when you still have no rank :rolleyes:

Double edged sword, Put in fast qualifying time to avoid the crash kids, But be put at a disadvantage during the race thanks to the absolutely terrible BOP they have currently in place.

The BOP has been pretty good so far I think, but that's just my opinion. And how would the BOP be at a disadvantage if you had a good qualifying time?

Have you seen how the GT-R GR4 rockets passed everything else off the line? Pretty good is the last term I'd use to describe that BOP.

They should make the GTR gr4 rear wheel drive just like the GT3. Problem (mostly) solved. They're giving themselves too much of a challenge balancing FWD, RWD and 4WD cars in the same class.

In general, the fastest car in the ranking of each group has the "better" BOP. Choose them...

I thought the BOP was pre-defined for each car before any qualification or race, Is this not so?
