This will be the last NSX livery (done 10) I will do for the foreseeable future.

But this car it's the first time I took on a asymmetrical design to make this Fila livery NSX.

Teasing my first ever try with the super formula :D... It will not come very soon though since I have other works on the line, and I have to understand the lines of the super formula... But, to celebrate 1 million subs on a yt channel, it's something :D

I have a feeling I know which virtual musician's channel you're referring to here since I am one of those subscribers that helped reach 1 million so I'll look forward to the livery when it's revealed!

Wow, you're seriously talented! Surprised nobody has called you up for livery design!

...Ok last N24 livery, I swear. (Ok, when you watch the 2016-2019 N24 hours over and over in lockdown, you get stuck for a similar theme :/)

Vulcan Vitessa V

Was nearly tempted to follow the fictive F1 train started by @Adam Barber, but ended up finding inspiration to flesh out one of my ideas for Vulcan's motorsport 'heritage'. As you can probably tell, the canvas is an R92CP and the vehicle it is meant to represent is one of the company's Group C prototypes, the Vitessa V.

The backstory I have in mind is that the Vitessa V ran from the start of Group C up until the 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans, with eight iterations over the course of its 12-year career. Aluminium honeycomb and later carbon-fibre/Kevlar chassis. Contemporary ground effect aerodynamics. Naturally-aspirated and turbocharged engines. Most of these variants proved monstrous; as the R92CP uses a twin-turbo V8, I chose to represent the Vitessa Vg which used a large-capacity 5.0l unit on par with the Sauber C9's block. Good enough for over 1,000bhp at maximum boost and over 250mph down Mulsanne Straight...

Colours and decal shapes were developed from initial notes I had for the Vitessa liveries, which traditionally had a white base with stripes and other patterns in green or other colours depending on sponsorship. For this, I decided to keep the patterns two-tone green in a similar style to what I have done for my more 'modern' liveries, implying that this style is also a tradition among Vulcan racing schemes. You might also notice that the 'wing' logo is nowhere to be seen and that the text logos are in a different font to the other Vulcan liveries I have done. In the early-80s, Vulcan swapped Gill Sans for Eurostile and adopted a new logo (affectionately dubbed the 'hamburger') as an attempt to push themselves forward as a technologically-sophisticated brand. VPS (Vulcan Performance Services) had also been established during this period, which resulted in their logo starting to appear on the Vitessa prototypes alongside a few high-profile sponsors.

As the first Group C-based livery I've shared, I'm really happy with how this one turned out. The colours and decal designs suit the R92CP rather well and no doubt reinforce my vision of the Vitessa V being an elegant, but simple, functional and deceptively well-rounded prototype. Will add a more detailed backstory in my Livery Gallery when that is developed, but for now, here's a closing shot of the Vitessa V alongside the HP-4.

2 questions i have...

1. Anyone know whether or not the color used here is a normal one or one of the special paint chips?

2. How on earth do you achieve the glossy-esque looking Red Bull decals?

2: Probably using one of the special paints and then masking everything else with 1: either powder or matte decals.

The issue is how exactly can you make a decal or a set of decals look bright and glossy, especially when you are using the Matte setup in the decal section

You don't, the red part of the bull and the red bull text are the body colour of the car showing through transparent sections of a decal. You'll seen none of the other decals or sponsor stickers that aren't that exact shade of red have any sort of glossiness.

I’ve made the same livery.
Paint base is chrome red.
Masking is used with Red Bull decals you can find in search.

Hopefully they make this easier to do in GT7 because I love the look but not how much time it takes to do. These have all been posted previously, but I figured some more examples can't hurt.

I do enjoy the end result on masking, nice examples btw,
but yeah they take a bloody long time.

My favourite examples:

The second Group C livery that I've shared, here is the Alpha racing team 962 that finished 3rd overall at Le mans in 1990. In that race the car was being driven be David Sears, Touring car legend Anthony Reid and TV and racing legend Tiff Needell. It is also worth noting that year they beat all the factory entered 962's and only lost out to 2 factory Jaguar XJR-12's. I noticed in the images that the Alpha logo was grey with a white outline so i used a custom decal for that and a 2 part for the text on the left side as identified by @daan. Livery is sport mode safe, Enjoy!
