Starting to update these oldies from 2018 with newer acquired paints and decals and changing out wheels to centerlocks. Here's the first few...

There really should be more centerlocks wheels available for this car. I don't understand how PD allows KMC brodozer wheels on this car but not Rays centerlocks. The game should just be set as if it's a full on race car, it should accept any centerlock wheels. <End weekly GT rant>

That's tasty work! Can I ask how you make metallic colours like that? I can see that coming in handy for some designs I just can't make work in the game yet!

Use a metallic color as the base paint, then use transparent decals (preferably ones that can be colored). Experiment with opacity by adding transparent layers, also experiment with light and dark base paints. Enjoy. You're welcome

I believe he is using the old transparent shape trick: you simply apply a semi transparent decal with the color you want over a bright metalic paint.

Correct! As a matter of fact, the base color of this BMW Z4 isn't even silver - it's white tinted transparent decals over dark blue metallic.
