Gran Turismo Sport Livery Thread and Discussion! (Read Original Post!)

WOW!

I thought MINE took some time. But the ones posted in this thread must've taken a HELL of a lot longer. Mine are all very, very simple designs.

Something I started working on last night between the Manufacturer races; a pair of Pioneer-sponsored Mustangs. Full reveal soon.

I'm thinking of doing a Gr.1 version of the Audi too, using the Quattro decal to replace the e-tron one...

OK, question time.....

When I was making the livery for my Ayrton Senna Lotus Honda, I couldn't get the logos on the sides of the front wing. I've seen pictures of other people having them on there. Does anyone know how this is done? I've tried many different ways to do it, to no avail. The front wing is tagged as the "hood" in the editor, so you have to use that tab to put anything on it. But trying to get a decal over to the outside of the wing is impossible (for me).

Not my photo or livery, obviously

When you add a decal, before going in your decal library, change the projection method to "align with camera" and then move the camera to the side

TYVM!!! That did it. Earlier, I wasn't aligning the camera with the end plate straight on from the side. But moving around to where it's looking directly at it, the decal moved over exactly where I needed it.

I was working on the Alain Prost Marlboro McLaren from '87 when I read your post. And I had to put a decal on the end plate of the front wing of that car. So I tried it, and it worked perfectly.

Again, TYVM!

Side note: I sure do miss the cigarette races. I'm not a smoker, but those cars with those liveries back then looked awesome going around the tracks.

This is my 10th and final 650S GT3 livery (I've limited myself on 10 liveries for each car) with this Mastercard design that does have a passing resemblance to the brief Mastercard Lolas from the 1997 F1 season opener.

To any gray color experts, can you identify what sort of gray was used for this livery? Im pretty sure its not one of the special milliage exchange colors and its a semi gloss gray too, also i have no ways of asking the creator of this livery about what gray was used unfortunately
