This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo World Series Berlin: Subaru and Serrano Do the Double

The standout stars of the first round of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series continued their form into the second, as Team Subaru and Jose Serrano each grabbed maximum points to maintain their 100% starts...

A bit late perhaps, but here are the live viewership figures:

• Manufacturers combined peak 11 250
• Nations combibed peak 8700
• Have to double check but IIRC the Nations cup combined peak is the lowest since I began tracking, especially as Twitch stream didn't have in-game stream until last summer, and surprising after R1 set new record (Manufacturers, 28.4K)
• Only the German feed was able to gain viewers during the day (Manufacturers vs Nations)

And once again, I failed to predict the correct winners. Or, more accurately did manage to predict a winner but for the wrong race :grumpy:

just watched the nations race, GT7's rain tech is really neat, at some points in the nations race it was sunny but with a light drizzle, some parts of the track not raining at all.
Really entertaining and chaotic fun, not many console racers have this stuff

My (stupid) predictions were:

Manufacturers: Jose Serrano (Porsche)
Nations: Kylian Drumont

🤦‍♂️

So that went well for me... lol at least I nailed both names of the winners, where's my prize?!

A few impressions from the weekend :) They had the Opel Corsa GSE VGT on display next to the stage, and it was available for 5-minute test drives at Deep Forest. Three rows of sports cars were parked outside on the Uber Platz free for anyone to have a look at. I wasn't there from the beginning so I don't know who participated and won the influencers and media "Invitational Race" that took place before the GTWS races. One cup of beer 7 €.

I won't spoil the "Invitational" result in any specific way, but while I had a good enough race you shouldn't expect to see me on the podium

That's nice that they did that.
I remember coming last but one in my race at The Orange Box in 2016

Less nice was the walk-on. I'm generally not good with being the centre of attention (aside from making hilariously bad quips in group situations  ) so that was... quite the thing.

Not sure when the recording will air, but I was happy enough with how my race went.

I hope there's a video 😁

Oh yeah, the whole thing was recorded. We even did a walk-on rehearsal to make it look good less bad and were told to throw shapes rather than trudging one so...
So did you high-fived all your opponents while arriving on stage or did you played with the crowd ? Can't wait 😁
