I didn't even look to see what console you had. That being said, i have no clue. Im not even big into the achievements on 360. I haven't cheated a bit on this game unlike all the other GTA games and im not going to until i complete it (100%). So, i will end up getting all of the achievements on it by not cheating, some cheats block certain achievements on 360, which is actually kind of cool IMO.

That is cool, and Im glad they do that. I havent used cheats either, and I dont plan on it at all. I think there isnt much need for them on IV, with the cover system and all, its just a lot easier. Getting away from cops is a pain when you get 3 or more stars though.
 
I have only had trouble getting away above 4 stars. They go nuts when you get to 4. I got bored and was throwing cocktails down from playboys roof onto people until i got the heli sent out for me then was picking the cops off the side of it with the sniper rifle. Has anyone shot the pilot of the heli in the air yet? Was wondering if you could pop him and make it go down that way. I can never get a clear shot on him.

Really? At all my safehouses they come right into my apartment room and start shooting me up. :\
 
@Giancarlo: Man, I was just playing with you and you kept killing me. I was trying to do something with my friend and I had no option but to kill you. :grumpy: That one time you got on the chopper, we landed, I went to get a car and you RPGed me and my friend. Traitor!!
Oh, and I owned you about 100 times with the RPG at the safehouse. :)

That's weird, then. People on GTAForums & I usually use it as a tactic to get the dead cops' guns before the next wave comes in the doors.
 
I have yet to have them come into my place yet either. Its funny because you can bump into a cop or touch they're car and they are after you. But if you do other things in front of them they just don't care. Then when they chase you all you have to do is run inside your house and goto sleep...haha. Doesn't work like that in real life, would be nice if it did.

Oh yeah going to sleep yeah they go away but if I just go into my apartment with a wanted level and wait in there they come through the door.
 
Yeah, i was saying that if i just go in there they won't come in, (which in your case they do...odd) and then started thinking about how ridiculous it is that they just go away if you goto sleep. I kind of mashed that together, sorry....my brain goes too fast for the rest of me.
 
If I knew how to upload videos I would show you but I guess a picture could work but it wouldn't do much good.

EDIT: So yeah if anyone wants to play multiplayer i'm dieing to.

EDIT: Also I'm not getting these stunt jumps at all. i'm jumping as far as I can and it's saying not good enough? Really how friggin far do you need to fly
 
Well you gotta land it. If you land upside down or just miss the landing area, it says not good enough.

I will play some multiplayer if you want on the 360. I spent all of friday and saturday playing GTA4 multiplayer unranked GTA races. Played a little team deathmatch but mainly races. Lots of fun in boats, helicopters, trucks, cars, or bikes.

I got real heat for saying this game sucked without playing it so... There... happy now, I played it for a good hr. I was bored within the first 5min., but I played it. I'd like to get my $8 back but oh well...

Okay. We all really care that you dont like the game. And you have also contributed a lot to this particular thread. Thanks for letting us know that you out of probably 500,000 people dont like this game. My life will continue now.

I got all the police missions out of the way between yesterday and today. I think I'll complete the requirements for friends next. 78% so far.

I haven't finished the assassin missions for the guy at the public phone yet, but it's disappeared off the map and there's no mission marker there? Does anyone know if it comes back later or if I have to do anything to activate them?
 
That's odd. The only reason it would disappear would be if you were on a mission or had already finished them. Don't know what to say there.

I'm 70%, but I'm about 80% done with Police missions, Stunt Jumps, and something else I can't remember right now.
 
Just a quick one, It's not a spoiler but it is something thats hidden, shoot a piegon "flying rat" to see what I mean.....any more would be a tiny spoiler.
