Okay, I'm just about almost done with the storyline. Roman's missions are at 86.6%, so that's just 2 more missions to go.

I chose to do the mission at boat at the docks. I made it about 3/4 way and I had full health and armor so I was good to go, then 2 goons surprised me and took me down to no armor and about 20% health. So I took it really slowly for the rest of the mission, using cover and grenades and flush out a path ahead of me. I managed to make it to the end and then I just used up my last 10 grenades to clear out the room. It would have been sweeter to kill him execution style, but I wasn't taking any chances.

you dont have to reach to %100. %70- %80 is enough.
Do all avaliable activities with all of your friends then they will unlock their special abilities for you. and you complate a little percent of game ;)

Hmm... I'm 99% sure I've done everything with everybody. Brucie was the only one who gave me percentage when I did the last thing available, BUT he was the only one who had the high friendship perk. Also, those numbers are about 35% away from the required percentage for the perk. I guess I'm not a good friend. :lol:
 
...................I always hated the whole dating friends thing. Real for sure but so frustrating and pointless.

does he open his heli taxi service to you? and make sure you call and deal a meeting. the meetings by your friend's calls dont count..

grrr. I know where the missing rats. I cant find them with guide because I killed them during a mission. must be a glitch or something. I def send a email to rockstar.
 
Are you positive? Did you go through every single one, including ones where you thought "I know I got that one." Where is the one that didn't count?
 
I'll blow my mind if I rechecked again. I'm very sure about that. I killed 2 pigeons before I ebgin to kill them with the guide. I killed them in the missions and I didint see them again but somehow there is one missing. besides I visited every place in the guide. I googled and a few people got the same trouble.
 
for those who don't already know
the serial killer mentioned in the game's news is Eddie Low, you meet him twice (I just met him the second time last night) as a random character and you can find his blog on blogsnobs and he also has a myroom page, turns out he is even more disturbed than his encounters would suggest and by chance I may have stumbled on his origin on Wikipedia. Looks like that article sort of fits him and I wouldn't be surprised if his "appearance" in the game sparked that particular page's appearance as the daily article.

yeah I was hoping it would spoiler the wikipedia so people wouldn't be tempted, if it makes you feel any better it doesn't have anything to do with the storyline, just one of the random characters.:sly:

Congratulations Rainmaster.

I just finished the storyline about an hour ago and I'm up to 87.5% so I now have to slog through all the pigeons, jumps, etc. to get up to 100%
 
Before I find an online guide and start hunting down these pigeons and stunt jumps, does anyone have a good link to a good guide to them? I've had some bad luck with terribly written stunt and hidden package guides to past games and end up getting lost and losing track of what I'm doing because the FAQ author gave awful descriptions to packages.

Try IGN. They used to have a pretty good detailed list of everything.

stunts are easy to do. You can finish stunts in 4-6 hours.
pigeons are not so diffucult as imagined. if you will be careful and mark every kill count of them you can finish it in 2 days. Just be careful ;)

I'll check 'em out tomorrow. I think a few sessions over the next few days and 100% could be wrapped up.

I think I need to take Brucie on a drinking session to complete his activities, do all of Packie's activities to get his ability and activities finished and then it's just the stunts/pigeons and then get the high score on that blasted QUB3D game! I hate it! :grumpy:
 
I need about 40 pigeons, 10 more cars for Stevie, most of the random characters, finish off activities with someone (not sure who :lol:) and apparently something else. I have about 122 hours on my game.

I screw around. A lot. :lol:
 
Just to confirm once in for all. The Futo GT is not actually a different car in the game, it's just a Futo with some visual stuff on it and a GT badge similar to the Sentinel with XS badging ( a VC reference) or the Uranus with the large wing. I drove both of them back to back and definitely no difference. No doubt that the GT badged model looks cooler though.
 
Lola's much like the art of other GTAs. She's on the cover and is chosen as an artwork character, but you'll never really see her. Much like the blonde on San Andreas.

I feel your pain. :( I can't beat the high score in this game no matter how many times I try. Maybe there's some trick I haven't worked out yet, I don't know. I've been on 96.25% completed since last Friday and just have the QUB3D game and stunt jumps to complete.
