Not sure about you guys but I am very disappointed in this game. Graphics and game play are good. But they missed the heart of what I think most of us wanted. The ability to have massive single player offline playing collecting cars, changing wheels, changing parts, changing color schemes and tuning. Then taking your creation and going out and winning more races to make money to buy more cars. I was hoping they would have all of this plus the ability to go online with your personal creation and race with that. Disappointing. Was hoping to get the C4 corvette and customize that fully then racing with it online. Oh well...

You honestly don’t think other people have had this same thought since October? You couldn’t swipe through a couple of pages and find a thread bitching about the game? You had to go an start a brand new thread?

Man, brand new people should have read and commented in 100 threads before posting a new thread.

I suggest you play the game instead of railing about it. Do the License tests and the Course Experience. Learn how to drive before you go online and join the battering ram brigade of punters. If you look through some of the threads, you’ll see that the Missions aren’t exactly simple.

If you look at the cover, it’s not “Grand Turismo”.

Perhaps you’re one of the “aliens” who are always in the top five of GT Academy and find this game to be quite simple???

As far as “missing the mark”, I think they have achieved exactly what they told us GTS would be. But, yes, the BoP system has proven to be hard for PD to nail down. And new content is coming this month.

In time, many of your prayers may be answered. An offline mode is coming shortly, hundreds more cars are promised by Kaz during the support phase of the game, you change rims already and create custom liveries. You can still go online, or offline for that matter, compete and win money to buy new things.

Nope. Your opinion is invalid... You've had it a day dude! Wait a month or so, THEN have a whinge, you'll have earnt it, like I did... I mean, Beetles, am I right?

Joe, where are you at in the game? Level, etc? What have you accomplished? What prize car did you get for your Daily a workout today?

If you go to “Discover”, you can download decals to help create your own liveries. You can also download liveries others have uploaded to share. At the top of this GTS forum, there is a Livery Forum.

As far as throwing Stage 3 turbos and crap on there, we can’t do that. This game is so online focused, doing that would cause a multitude of problems trying to match people online.

I just bought the game today bro. I didn't know... but yea. Epic failure.
No it’s not. I actually am loving it and am highly addicted. I’m not saying it’s perfect but it’s the most fun I’ve had in a GT title in ages. It’s just not your cup of tea. Return the game and make yourself feel better and stop wasting space whining here when, as someone else stated, there are numerous crybaby threads. I’m guessing you just wanted to be noticed.

Complaining about beetles is so last week, the cool kids complain about Meganes now. Keep up.

I was complaining about Meganes when everyone else was complaining about the Beetle, mainly because people using them were using me as a brake so they could corner better before shooting away on the straights. Then the update came and made them handle well too, mass complaints were not too far behind. :gtplanet::cheers:

If this was Gran Turismo 7 i would agree with you, but this is Gran Turismo Sport and it didn't miss the mark, but it missed your expectations, that's two different things.

Gran Turismo Sport is everything what PD said it would be and besides very soon we will have single player GT League:

New cars:

  • Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD)
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II (R32)
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nür (R34)
  • Ford F-150 SVT Raptor
  • Lamborghini Countach LP400
  • Ferrari F40
  • Ferrari Enzo Ferrari
  • KTM X-BOW R
  • Suzuki Swift Sport
  • Volkswagen Sambabus Type 2 (T1)
  • Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevy Nova
  • Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3)
And in 2018 PD will add more cars and tracks:

Regular updates will be released throughout 2018 and approximately 50 cars will be added until March 2018. We also plan to release additional tracks in the coming months.

Please stay tuned to experience the evolution of Gran Turismo Sport!

Wrong game, buy forza. FH3 or F7.

And you are totally right.

Amen my friend!

Yes, Forza 7 is the game you're looking for Joseph Tito and I don't say that flippantly, Polyphony Digital changed course.

I used to love making my black Lancer Evo compete with race cars. Perhaps one day PD can return to this once they've developed this more serious online mode . You can have a GT Sport like online section alongside offline races and parts/tuning plus offer an arcade online lobby mode to take your creations. With so few cars and tracks, missing Spa and Le Sarthe, PD have their work cut just adding to the base game.

Reminds me of the GT5p days. on gtplanet we used to rinse Suzuka and Fuji online. PD just had limited content back then, no parts for cars. GT Sport is back to square one so it makes sense to focus on cultivating a more serious online mode on console with a more refined game if you decide to start from scratch with limited content. It's like a Prologue for 2017.
