Graphics Driver problem

I have a small to a big problem. Though I have been told that Integrated Computers aren't for Gaming but I came upon a luck on getting a Ati Radeon 200m Express(I hope so). But the game I played was Half life 2, it was only the demo and I ran it perfectly before. but also being told to stay away from Counter Strike Source because my laptop couldn't run HL2 to its recommended specs but I was like **** it. I bought CS:S and installed it. Perfect right? Well, once I click on the icon and it does its regular "Steam is looking for updates" and yada yada yada another Steam icon comes up and says that my graphics driver is old and needs a update. So getting the 7.12 update and the network frame 3.0 and installing it all, it comes to a conclusion that the" update" isn't compatible with my laptop. What is wrong?

After the installation of NetFramework 3.0 and the removal of ATi product.

hmm, have you tried posting in other forums like www.ocforums.com ? those usually give quick replies. here... you might have to wait a while.

Is .net 3.0 really neccecary? I don't think your graphics card would require it. Remove it and use .net 2.0

Well, I looked at the OC forums and I found this
