I haven't got Spotify, & don't want it either. It's yet another way of siphoning more money out of our wallets (maybe that's why they dropped AAC/MP3 support on PS4).

You don’t have to pay for Spotify, you can use the free version. It’s a little more limited in what it can do but it’s free. :)

Had a look at it before, thought it was just a paid for service, didn't realise there was a free version.

Same here, then I tried it again in an attempt to find some new songs and found it actually works pretty well. I only paid for it because they had a promo on of 3 months for $.99, once that’s over I’ll cancel it lol. The free version makes you listen to a 30 second add once every half hour and only lets you skip 6 songs per half hour I think, other than that it does almost everything else the paid one does I believe. :)

Pretty sure the free version you can only shuffle songs, so you can't just pick a song and play it. Not a big deal if your just using it for GT Sport or gaming in general though.

I like how since it's linked with the PS4 the music will stop at certain points when something happens. Not so much in GT sport but other games it's very handy so you don't miss important stuff. I think the only time it stops in GT Sport is in the Nations and Manufacturer race intros when they play the "anthems", really gets the nerves going hearing those.

When it comes to music and GT Sport, I set a theme for every track and even prepare the themes for upcoming tracks. Also, each track will be assigned a "Final Round"/"Final Season" theme for the FIA races.

Like this one for Maggiore:

And some of the themes that I've picked are a bit odd, like this one when Suzuka Circuit (not the East version, which will get this) is the Final Round of an FIA season/part of the Final Season of an official FIA Gran Turismo Online Championship:

But the Final Round of the Final Official Online Season theme is this classic here:

Spotify is great, I only have the free version since I already pay for Apple music (which is also a great) but I might just switch.

In light of todays sad news about 'ol Flint, I think The Prodigys song Smack My B**** Up would be a great accompaniment to a good MarioKarts crash fest demo derby compilation vid.

Vale the great man.
