I love that track. When I'm not too busy racing karts I host a Spa trackday lounge:D So fun with all the people driving in very different cars. From Volvo's to Formula GT's. I was suprised by the attitude of the people online. They apologised if they hit you by accident.

Looks like a great version of Spa. I've only done some online stuff so far but I will definitely download it at some point. :)

Hmm that wasn't me was it? I was in a track day at Spa, I hit someone who I think was Dutch and apologised..

Could just be a coincidence :sly:

Also I did a race against some.. um.. 'drivers'.. and well let's just say that most of them seem to think La Source is 100m further away than it actually is :grumpy: harumph

OH lastly one thing, does anyone else have the issue when you're coming out of the pits, when it's driving you around the exit of the pit, it hits the wall? You can't control it but every time I come out of the pits it just hits the wall, like a little 'bump' noise.

The spa track is sssssooo EPIC you can even smell the waffles in the wee huts beside the grandstands... lol

Yeah exactly, that's something very detailed and Kazu has put it in there.
That was the first thing i thought doing a TT in a tc on Spa.

Running a very slow lap i really had the feeling of being there again.
I go every year to the 24h and F1. And to me this is the first digital Spa who adds these little details in. No other sim or arcade racer did such a detailed one.

For example, on top of eaurouge, you look back to pit section. Across the section after La Source the grand stands are perfect, detail is insane, but then they go on. Behind the stands quite a big courtyard is layed out that stokes tons of shops at 24hours, and a big party at night. As one of the first PD added that courtyard, some shops on it etc. Unbelievable, because it's almost never in view.

Same goes for the busstop, added some nice detail around the woods on the left. And another thing they got right is the color. Typical Belgian tree colours and really adds to the atmosphere.

Lovely hometrack for me and i couldn't be happier right now.

They nailed it!!

I think Spa is a great track and in GT5 it looks absolutely stunning. Together with Nordschleife it is the nicest in the game, maybe even better than Nordschleife.

However I actually prefer the slightly older version of Spa (pre-2007) that was used back when I followed F1 closely. Then the Bus Stop was a left-right-right-left double chicane, the start finish straight was actually not straight, and La Source was further back and narrower without the runoff areas. Unfortunately it was modified to make room for a longer pit lane.

I would love to have more of the older F1 tracks, especially the old layout of Hockenheim which was demolished like 10 years ago, and the A1-ring which was also demolished some years ago but is now rebuilt as Red Bull Ring.
