That Yamaha is really fugly.

And am I the only person here who thinks the front end of the Mysterro looks exactly like a Pontiac Sunfire?

Seven replicas are so underestimated by people. The Caterham Superlight R500 Evolution goes from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. The Ferrari Enzo has 3.3 second McLaren F1 has 3.4 & they both cost way over $500,000.00. I've always wanted to import one, but I don't think they're street legal in the U.S.A. I've only seen one seven on the highway once a long time ago.
ANyone who knows cars knows that Caterhams are extremely fast cars. A British car magazine (I can't remember which one) recently did a test of the best driver's cars of the last 10 years, and in the 0-100-0 test the Caterham set a new record for that test. If anyone can remember which mag that was in, and what the Caterham's time was, please post.

Another one is :

the Edonis

Turbo'ed 3.7l V12 giving out 680bhp @ 8000rpm.

Apparently good for 224mph and 3.9 secs for 0-60mph.

Those holes....makes some good nesting places for birds.

Wrong.

3.1 seconds.

It still beats both.

Wow only 3.9L for a V12. Pretty good numbers too. 👍

Yeah, but if it's the engine out of the EB110, then there's the small matter of the quartet of turbos to consider...

The Caterham 0-100-0 time was 10.73 seconds, and the test was carried out by Autocar.

Yeah, but the T-Rex has been bought by quite a few celebrities. I saw 2 celebrities on MTV's Cribs with one once. The one was a black basketball player who owned it, a lowrider, mercedes-benz, and 9 Sport Bikes!

They are. Although a Caterham might be expensive, and hard to obtain, Superformance , one of the most respected Cobra replicar builders out there, builds a quality S7 replicar and all you have to do is throw in your engine of choice. (so it doesn't have to meet 'production car' crash tests) Cali residents might have a problem or two. :/ Speaking of Superformance replicas, here's a little gem of a car most people I know don't know about:
daytona3.jpg

The Shelby Cobra Daytona. The Cobra was a beast of a car but had one major flaw: Aerodynamics. Ferrari was beating them at Le Mans. Solution? Re-body it. None of these made production though, so it's no suprise people forgot about it. But, quite recently Peter Brock, one of the original designers of the Cobra Daytona's bodywork, got together with Superformance and designed a replica better than the original, the Coupe:

Rumbling V8, and leightweight, but modern features like air conditioning make this a sensible 'piece of the past' that you can put in your driveway for $45,000. Better than betting $2,000,000 for an original.

Damn that Covini is the most unique supercar I have ever seen.

A lot of these supercars, look like they have pieces of other cars on them.

I forgot to look for the article where I first saw the Edonis. But I do remember that all teh bits and pieces left over for the EB110 at Bugatti were bought by Dauer. Now one can buy a Dauer EB110.

Speaking of which, the EB110 'Supersport' was the pumped up version of the EB110.

3.5l V12 quad-turbo, 600hp, 350kph, 0-60mph in 3.5.

I love the ultima. It's pretty low tech by modern super car standards but then you can have one that'll give a McLaren F1 a good run for it's money for under £60k and that's incredible.
I've seen their stand at the Donington Kit Car Show and they really are very well made.

I hate supercars like the above and the Morgan Aero 8.
They should realize the 30's are over.

I can't wait until the the new bugati veryon comes out. How much horsepower does it have. I think its 1001bhp and the top speed is 252m.p.h

I guess no one told BMW that the 50s were over, else they wouldn't have built the Z8...

which rocked the complete 400hp M5 drivetrain.

someone should also remind ford to step into the 21st century from the sixties.

Nah, Ford knew what they were doing in the 60s. And, that know how has appeared to have carried over to the new Mustang, the first Ford I would actually consider buying (aside from the GT, but it's not like I will ever be able to afford one...). It's fast, very good looking, and by all accounts, appears to be well built. I can't wait to see the performance figures for the Mustang GT-R and the Cobra (whenever they are tested).

Wu zi, not woozie...

Anyway, I don't like retro. The Corvette so tastefully blends cues from the past into an overall modern styling, it's ownderful. Same with the 997.

997 makes the Porsche showroom look like a used car dealership.
The Vette C6 makes the Chevy showroom look like they have alot of C5 leftovers.

McLaren'sAngel, I've actually seen one of those T-Rexes on the streets of Houston once. And then, I seen one on Spike TV show "Ride with FunkMaster Flex" when rapper Ja Rule had one. That T-Rex has some serious spunk. Since it's a three-wheeler, I think it's qualified more as a motorcycle than a car. The front tires are reminiscent of an F1 car. So I think of it as a Formula One race car at the front, and a wild motorcycle that Valentino Rossi or someone would race. That machine is one of the wildest machines I've ever seen. And when my brother took me to school once last year, it was pretty low to the ground. So I ask myself... is that a race car? Or a motorcycle with a chemical imbalance?

That sucker is pretty loud as well. If ever there were a racing series devoted to these, I'd love to see them in action. May want to be careful with this one, McLaren. This machine is so wild, your cute little kitty in your signature might get scared by its performance. If I had the money (have to get a license first), I'd get one of those. Then find a race track to tear it up on. Then, I'll go . Dig, player?

Eh? They are road tyres. On a <for lack of a better term> suspension bolted to the exterior of the body. Does that make a Caterham an F1 car too?
