Interesting, I thought the Enzo was awesome until I saw it in real life. Even since, I hate it.

I've seen all but the Zonda in person, and I'm going with the Carerra.
 
My instincts brought my hand towards clicking on the Carrera GT. But I have not read a test about it yet, and I am not sure if Porsche is as serious as Ferrari obviously was, on building THE fastest car in the world. I chose the Ferrari because it seems so much more exotic.
 
SLR= i have heard some really bad things about it. Lifeless, brakes too strong (?) and teh looks dont make you want to know more about the car.

Murcielago= Its good, Its very good.

Enzo = Doesn't look sleek enough. But how ferrari can make it, and not make it the fastest production car in the world. It just seems pointless.

Zonda= Probably what a 10yr old boy would draw as his super car. But not the most amazing car around.

Carrera GT= Excellent. But nothing new with the looks, but still looks nice. I would want it, and im sure my mate 911_Carrera would to
 
If anyone would like to donate about £400,000 then I'll buy one. It looks great I think no matter what he says. It's quick, sleek, sexy and powerful. I want one.


p.s. If you're meaning the last word of your post to mean "aswell", then shouldn't it be "too" instead of "to"? :p

"As well" is two words. Hurrah!

Enzo - Third example in the UK dropped an alternator and caused a 12 mile tailback on the A12 (which I was in) of people driving past slowly and laughing. They paid no attention to the interior either - there's bits of bare carbon-fibre edges everywhere.

Carrera GT - Just looks wrong, like the Cayenne. They've tried to keep the shape too "Porschey" at the front. Too anodyne to me.

Murcielago - No-one can pronounce it. No-one can press the clutch down. But as has been said, the 4WD would save most of us from an early grave, and mean you could still get to work in the snow...

SLR - What a heap of ****. £300k for an overblown Mercedes SLK (not even an overblown CL600).

Zonda - Highly bespoke. Probably the only one worth £300k of the bunch. Gets my vote.

To be honest, I don't really like any of them. I picked the Enzo simply for performance reasons. They're all probably too small for a guy of my size anyway. (6'4") :(

when u buy a zonda u also get your own custom made shoes, and any interior u want... (ostrich hide)
id love to have the zonda roadster :cool:
 
Difficult to call....all of the above

If I could only have on it would probably be the Zonda C12S (no paint...just bare carbonfibre)
 
As far as I know the SLR and the Carrera are also subject to a limited production run, with about 1500 GT's being built (i think)
 
dam, i was just hoping there was a limited yearley production. That would make it like 0.000001% chance of getting one.
 
At the level of "super car" I would go after the Lambo. I don't think you can get a Zonda in the United States, and the other manufacturers make cars for the "poor man".

I would want to own something very few people own. If I were to get a Carrera GT, I'd have Boxter owners coming up to me "Yeah, I've got a Porsche too. Aren't they cool?" NO YOU NUMBNUT! YOU OWN A CHEAP PIECE OF CRAP! With a Murcielago you wouldn't get that so much (:

I believe proces are about 120,000 pounds/$279,800 (is that right?) and production is about 400 a year.

Also with the baby lamborghini gallardo lambo's could be come that bit more 'common':lol:
 
In 26.25 years I've seen precisely 3 Lamborghinis - one blue Countach QV500, one black Countach LP500 and one yellow Diablo. I saw three Boxsters today alone (and one 911).

Not necessarily true - if it doesn't meet the US emitions standards importing it isn't worth the time and effort. It would have to be modified and at that point is no longer as great of a car.
 
I''m gonna go with the McMerc for this one.
It'll go over 200 mph with an automatic tranny. Merc comfort.
The lazy man's Grand Touring car.
