Anyone else have the problem on PC when you click on fullscreen, the aspect ratio becomes 4:3?

EDIT: TV settings. Fixed.

What discipline are you racing in?

Personally, sometimes I find them a bit aggressive.... but I also think that that's what helps add to the fun nature of it. Look at the old school BTCC for example.... you had to have pointy elbows back then :)

I'd rather them be aggressive (and sometimes make mistakes because if it) than have yet another racing game where the AI are as dull as dishwater and don't defend lines and challenge for the overtake (albeit with a bit/lot of rubbing).... just my opinion.
Touring, but I've not been able to make a single pass without contact. They all just turn in like I'm not there... My windshield normally lasts about two corners. Then, I went online and finished a race without any contact.

I instantly bumped up the steering weight and feedback. It feels much, much better. The first few races were nearly impossible to control - it felt like I was driving on ice.

The A.I. in this game is wonderful. But, it's kinda too pushy-shovy. I like going two-wide through corners. Sometimes three-wide. I don't like counter-steering like Plato in Paddock Hill Bend because some particular matte black BMW tried to spin my Focus. I like going two-or-three wide without making much contact and then falling into line and pushing my way forward the normal (follow-draft-and-outbrake) way.

I'm using a G27, which is already considered weak compared to the T500, and I tried 100% FFB but had to turn it back down to 50% because I thought it was too much. I think wheel weight I have it at 100% and it feels fine.

I raced Indycars on Bathurst i almost wrecked almost 100 times also i like the Super Utes :D

Am I not meant to feel guilty for beating him?

I should stop reading this thread. Things like this...

RIP Arron, I trust he had a good life

Speaking to his best mate.... don't feel guilty. Run him off the road even....he'd just do the same :) He'd be really pleased to be in the game.

I didn't know him, but he was an aspiring Game Artist working his way through QA. We actually started at Codies at the same time.... our paths never crossed.

Think of it as a celebration of his life rather than something to feel sad about :)

Ok that's Friday, going to pick from Game early to play for a few hours before work, I won't be able to play much in the next few weeks because of work and the World Cup..

Seems everywhere i look here in Spain they are only selling the black edition :irked:
Nice; for once you can get a game at a bargain price and they choose to ignore it and sell it's limited edition brother only...

Guess i'll have to order from good old Britannia then.

Argh, this game is fun but intimidating. The AI is actually properly fast, in all of the right ways. Going to a track you've never driven before against near-alien fast AI is astonishing and nerve-wracking.

However, I don't quite understand the progression in it.

That's great news, not a big surprise though, as it's coming from Codemasters. :D
