In the end, it's still a Need For Speed game. But, thank you for the AUP-friendly attitude. I appreciate that you've actually experienced a crash at 50km/h+, but I really don't believe you.Uhh no. I always wear a seat belt. And my head never flayed around wildly, neither did my vision go grey and white or blurry, the way it goes in Shift 2! And what's with the warp speed lines around the edges of the screen?
Firstly, if you're wearing a seatbelt, that tells me you were in a car. Since 99% of cars are street cars, with crumple zones and airbags, I'm guessing you crashed one of those. This contrasts with a purpose-built race car in that the purpose built race car does not have crumple zones and airbags. They're removed to make the car faster. There's bracing mounted on the frame which reinforces the crumple zones.
An impact at 50 km/h in a street car (happened once, wasn't even bothered. Really no big deal.) is not the same as an impact in a purpose built race car. You will feel some of the effects on Shift 2 in a crash in a race car.
