Another thread should have been made for this!

I think GTPlanet Racing/GTP Racing will fit best but we'll see how the vote goes. A GTP themed livery would be cool as well, using the colours of GTP (grey, white, black, red and blue.)

Alright, I've got a deadline. You have until June 24th @ 23:45 GMT to vote for a name.n't worry about this, I'm sure you'll already have voted for something well before then.
I think I'm going to run this club like some professional publicly/privately owned racing team. So I'd imagine, yes, we're all going to run the same design, the only difference being our own (changeable) accent colors, sponsors and numbers.

P.S. I voted for GTPlanet Racing.

I agree with Dog, we should have another thread. We should also add GTPlanet.net Racing to the list and remove all references to "Gran Turismo" as possible names. Different game altogether.

Others may feel the same way, but before I join this club I'd like to see what plans you have, rules, regulations etc. Perhaps we should talk about the livery and how it's going to work as well. You might also want to check in with @Jordan to see how he feels about flying the site colours on our cars. If we're going to represent GTPlanet we need to follow the GTPOLR at all times and there needs to be a way to police that we are all doing so.

Scuderia GTPlanet or Equipe GTPlanet.
Scuderia GTPlanet Racing

I volunteered to do that

Jumping the gun with excitement :D

I will probably be setting my own team up, but would like to see how it all works first.

Also i would vet racers first, to make sure they run clean, wouldn't want a team with a bad name.

Same if i was to join a team, must be quick but most of all clean..

Not long to go now ;)

Setting up my own team as well. I just like to make something for myself as a privateer. Looking forward to see all those liveries in an online match. I am very tempted to just start an online carreer because you can run your own liveries etc etc. I just wonder how many there will be online the first weekend :)

So does anyone know if you can join more than one club/team at a time and just change your livery depending on who you are representing at the time?

Not long to go now race fans...lucky for me there is a Game store just near work, going to pop out and pre order this baby at lunch time!

Yes you can join multiple Clubs, but you have to choose your “active” club on the website, so you won’t have multiple Club liveries to switch between in the game at one time. You’d have to change your active Club on the website, then exit and re-enter Online mode in the game for your Club livery to update. Things could get really confusing otherwise, particularly because Clubs are cross-platform

Being influenced primarily by NASCAR stock cars, I'm not really sure what I'll consider home in this game. I suppose I'll give open wheel a shot, first.

Correct if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that this is either the 1995-1996 F1 GTR or the F1 LM next to the Nissan:

But in the car list, only the longtail F1 GT is included. So maybe there are more surprises for us? Cause the BRZ, for example, isn't in the list as well:

Is this using the codies RaceNet ? Seems cool clubs are cross platform.

I tried to create an account on RaceNet this morning,, fat fingered my email address but got the desired user name correct so emailed support to see if they could fix it. If I register with my correct email says the user name is taken .. doh.

Edit- Support team already replied and fixed my issue

I guess I should give the CliffsNotes version of the rules now:

Everyone runs the same livery, you need a number, everyone must follow the OLR, and if you get caught "out of line" you get a strike. Three strikes, you're out and I will not let you back in no matter how many PMs you send to me, or to any other member of the club.

Oh, and thanks to everyone who voted so far! 👍

I might thought of starting the game by racing in the Endurance Class first. How about you guys? :D

I'll probably just go through the entire game in an unspecified order dictated by random.org's RNG.

Can you specify? Is that basically dirty driving?
