Has anyone else lost a Gran Turismo 3 file? I have no idea how or why??

I was at 91+% done and lost my file.

All I can say is buy a back-up memory card, trust me it is worth it.

Or a shark port which costs about the same as one memory card and you can store as many gigs of stuff as you have free on your HD... well, almost. Oh, and you can share files if you wanted.

Oh yeah, a sharkport would easily work for you. I don't have one, but sometimes it would be nice. You can then access the hidden cars, a ton of nice cars in downloadable garages, and even build your own hybrids. I see that the hybrid hype died after about 2 weeks, maybe even less......

One other thing to remember. Always buy an original PS2 memory card. Those cheap brands always mess up.

I have a madcatz - that bad or good?

i think madcatz is one of the better 2nd party companies, but its still not near the quality of an officially liscenced ps2 memory card.

Yeah... I could've bought a second-rate mem card for $5 cheaper, plus it had twice the memory... yet I went for an official card, because I wantetd to make sure non of my game saves got erased. :)
