GT 4 Available in Europe

I may be a newbie to this forum but this information is rock solid as I've just had a telephone call from the store manager. (Game - UK)
Anybody who lives near the Trafford Centre (Manchester UK) Should get their asses their tonight at midnight as it will be open and selling copies of GT4.

This is great news for me as I live round the corner from there, but the problem is I've got to get up at 7am for a long days work tomorrow.....
...Oh well, Plenty of coffee for me in the morning then :)

ive had my phone call game stockport is opening at midnight too they also said they have a few extra copies so if you havent pre ordered then try there.

also has anyone worked out how to juggle playing playing gt4 and watching gran prix at the weekends i just love the 2 so much i may have to go and buy another tv and set it up at the side :) decicions decicions

My experience with pre-orders like that are the reason why I don't do pre-orders anymore. You won't get it first, store owners will sell your copy if they can even if it means you have to wait longer. The only idea behind pre-orders is that you have the idea you'll be getting it as soon as possible, while for them it just means that they captured a customer who will not run to another store anymore.

Bol.com isn;'t a store, its an online ordering place, so they don't have anothr custumor for my GT4
 
i just got an email from amazon saying that my item couldnt be dispatched due to an error with my card details.

the error- the card has expired.

not surprising considering the game was ordered 2 FREAKIN YEARS AGO!!!!!!

so now iam going to have to wait a couple more days.

i know that you lot cant currently see me at this moment but i am actually currently knawing through my leg out of frustration

I know what Bol.com is, I ordered from there before. It is a web-STORE so still a store. I guess bol just didn't have enough copies, or they don't know what they're selling and are like "oh well, one or two days later... I doubt he cares". :dopey:

Just buy it at a shop tomorrow, they can't charge you anytyhing for that pro-order if the car has ran out, unless you've already re-ordered.......................

What the hell posessed you to pre-order a game TWO YEARS AGO?!!! I didn't pre-order mine from anywhere, and I have it already...go figure.
 
at the time GT4 was due for release soon (hindsight is a beautiful thing eh?) so i preordered, back then as well as now i work FULL time so the 1st chance i will get to go out and buy the game is saturday morning.

also i didnt realise that a few shops (none near me) were going to blantently ignore the release date.

having 2 jobs sucks, but the bills need payin.
 
well, i called a locale store today ( holland, hooddorp) and they told me to come pcik it up tomorrow,....weird thing is...i have an official pre-order card as proof of a copy..and it says 11th march as official date...

The Ring tomorrow, YES..but first school, have to wake up at 5:30 and wont be home till seven in the evening. My mom will pick it up though, so u guess no prob, we've waited years, a few hours cant hurt..right....right? :)
 
i know it will, damnit cant you even try to make the blow a little less hard on me, say something supportive:) those last few hours are going to be worse than the whole wait of 5 years we've had....i've never been so sure about anything else:)
 
Hey i have to go to school too, the i have to walk the hour home, use public transport to get to town - 30min, buy it - 5min then get home about 45 min cos its rush hour - swear at my PS2 as it shows Disc read error, sort out that problem and play GT4 :) .

So ill be playing GT4 by 5:35Pm, see i got it down to the minute.
 
im gettin my copy too tomorrow and i cant bloody wait ive been playin gt3 for the past month again to regain my skill but quick question, does anyone know if a special edition of gt4 like the Japanese version with a racing guide and extra box will be hitting the shops tomorrow or will it be a normal plastic box+booklet ting safe

I also work full-time, but I still have my weekends like you - and enjoy them. Just chill out and feel smug in the fact that you still have something to look forward to, whereas others on here (including myself), don't!!
 
well,we can conclude that within 48 hours most of us will be playing a little game knows as GT4:) i'm actually maing homework as we speak.....or rather trying to:)
 
Aarrrgghh, went up to the video store that I pre booked from this evening. They had 27 copies of the game but they wouldn't sell me one because the release date is the 9th. f%@#*& B$*@#£# 👎
 
Yesssssssssss!, also bought GT4 today 8March, 18:00 CET at the Mediamarkt, it was very quite and they had many copies of GT4.

Cool. I get €20 dvd vouchers and a Jeremy Clarkson DVD.
It's strange that a lot of stores are giving stuff away with the game. It's not like it aint gonna fly off the shelves or anything.
 
If you wonder why some stores doesnt release/give out the game 1-2 earlier is because the store can get "penalty/fine" by doing that. I dont know why some stores do it tho.
