I got my copy today.Been playing ever since.Awesome game.I had a big smile on my face when i was playing it.
 
Super_Supra - some stores feel that once internet orders have been confirmed to be sent out and recieved that they don't need to stick to the release date, infact a local independant stores staff order a copy from amazon and gmaeplay and once it arrives they sell their copies and return the unopened ones they ordered :D

Amazons doing my head in, still not been dispatched so wont get it till thursday at least now as it'll hopefully get dispatched tomorrow and ill get it thursday - needless to say Im knarked I paid £3 for 1st class post and dont even have it for the release date! argh!

that's weird mate. got my amazon email today saying it dispatched. i chose first class aswell, u think it'll come tomorrow? it better does :drool:
 
:dopey: Damn, I'm pretty Pee'd that I have to wait all the way through wed and thurs to get mine, why does my birthday have to be on a friday? :nervous:

But what the heck, once I get it, I'll get it. I just won't come here again untill Friday so I'm not jelous of every other Pal user :dopey:
 
Right, well i'm going to play now :D

HOPEFULLY photomode will work with my digital camera and usb cable. as it transfers stuff the same way (no drivers needed either)

The pirated home burnt on a dvd+dl does not work as the game original is in PTP mode while dvd+dl discs are PRE formatted in OTP so the only way to have a copy that works is to have a pressed copy (Hong Kong Silvers).
 
Just picked up mine from HMV - Leadenhall Market - London

Edit: it was 29.99 but i had a voucher from prologue for £5 off which was cool. so got it for 24.99 :) very good value for money IMHO
 
I got mine yesterday! :dopey: I was like WHEEEE! the game is absolutely the best driving game this far, even though I have played it just four hours or so. :) the handling is just so realistic.. FF/AWD cars understeer, RWD oversteers, MR ones.. 👍 damn. I just can't wait till I get AWD, midengined and turbocharged car! :drool: in other words, Peugeot 205 T16 evo 2 💡 :drool: :dopey: I raced against it with my 400 bhp skyline, and pug was stock! it almost ran away f4rom me.. incredible, I gotta have it :scared: !!!

I droppped Amazon an email about it last night, about 9:45 ish still no word, if its not dispatched by tonight ill be insanely peeved!

Same problem here with frs.nl, they will hopefully dispatch it today... If not I'm going to be really p*ssed off....

It's the cheapest way for me to get the game, cars in the shop for another 2 weeks, bus to town will cost £6 return and £40 for the game, or i preorder with amazon get it (in theory) for release and pay a total of £33. Finance my man, finance :D
 
Hi i just got my copy of GT4 Today here in Sweden and the game suffers from horrible amounts of shimmering and jaggies on the same levels as GT3 highly disappointing after hearing that the graphics should be better in PAL version.

My eyes started to hurt after just playing for some minutes :/

Man that suxx.... Hope mine does not have that problem... You're tv works fine, isn't that the problem?
