LTRFTP here: Has anyone been thinking that there should be a class action lawsuit in regards to the price gouging for credits and how credits/rewards have been set up in this iteration of the game?
GT5 DLC pricing was pretty much around $1/car and such. XL edition improved on that further and gave you a $20 voucher to spend.
It seems that in GT6 we are getting less credits and cars as rewards for winning and everything appears to have been set up (maintenance on cars, wear and tear after ~500 miles, the sheer cost of upgrades) in a way that it implies the player should purchase credit to actually have some fun in the game. There is no "discretionary" spending allowed here!
Since we paid what is pretty much full retail price for the game, which was the standard launch price; Shouldn't we be getting the full game? And not a full time job grinding for credits instead?
The sheer price of credits for in game spending is astounding. I am not paying almost 3 times the price of the game just to get 1 car. If the game had been for free then I would have understood the reason to charge everything. But it isn't.
So this leads me to my next question. It is pretty obvious that we are being subjected to price gouging. I wonder if anyone else thinks the same and is considering legal action so that developers hear us loud and clear that we are not going to let them take advantage of us and rape our wallets?
