Wednesday Night Geezer Race

Porsche's Night at Sardegna Road Track ( A ) Tuning permitted

1st Race : Porsche 911 Carrera RS (993) '95 - 600pp
5 laps, open sport tires, F-3X T-3X

2nd Race: Porsche GTS RS (997) '09 - 700pp
6 laps, RH, F-3X T- 3X

3rd Race: Porsche 917 Living Legend - 800pp
10 laps, RH, F-4X T- 6X

Room opens at7:30 pm EDT : Race start at 8:00
Open to all friends and friends of friends

Lobby Open 10.00 ET, 15.00 UK. (This will take place during our usual Sunday racing. Lobby opens 08.30 ET 13.30 UK)


Car: GR3 Renault R.S.01 GT3 '16

Track/Laps: Fuji Short, 18 Laps
Tyres: RH/RM. Both sets to be used during race. Quali tyre open choice.
The tyre multiplier is x8 and the fuel is x6. We start with a full tank.

Practise/Qualification: 20 minutes. 5 min break before race.



Tuning: OPEN. (including wing, wide body etc etc if available)

MAX 534BHP (stock)
MIN Weight 1220KG (2690lbs) (stock)

PP: Any



Other Lobby Settings:
BOP: OFF
Preset Weather, S01 Dry Cloudless and Pleasant, Afternoon

@praiano63 where can you buy the Mclaren F1? Did I miss an opportunity? It was a gift from "Hagerty drivers club team" they'd sent a code to me and i do the setting for them and us too.;)

Saturday Geezer Races

Lobby opens @ 8:30 AM ET

Cars we may use (if everybody got it):

Any Gr.1 - (BoP No Tuning) - RM
Any Gr.2 - (BoP No Tuning) - RM
Any Gr.3 - (BoP No Tuning) - RM/RH
Any Gr.4 - (BoP No Tuning) - RH
PP Races - Road Cars Only - Any PP

Race and Track conditions:
Weather: Sunny and Clear Day (we will try a few different formats but no rain for now)
Laps: 5 to 9 depending on track length
Grid: Stand start
Tire: consumption during race will be set @ 2x for all races.
Fuel: consumption during race will be set at 100 liters and 7x for all races.
Qualify: fastest first for every race
Penalty System: on
Boost: OFF
Slipstream: ON Strong

1st Race/Qualify

Road Atlanta
Laps: 7
Gr.4 (4WD Only)
BoP/RM

4th Place Race 2 chooses next race

PS 2 - Due to the amount of work for the lobby host in GT7, a headset is requested. There will be no typing from the host with instructions.
 
Sunday Racing

Lobby (GRC) opens @ 8:30 AM ET 13.30 UK. GRC Season 1, race 2 at Fuji will start around 10.00 AM ET

1st race, Alsace Test Course, GR3, 10 laps (I have not tried it so hope it works ok :) )

Did some looking around for a C8 tune that lets the car get on down the road on tires it should be on. Found this 700pp by Praiano,, haven't logged in to put it on the car but I will.

My second C8 tune uses Sport Medium tires, John. With the better gear range and other changes, it should take more effort to run into grip problems.

If you still have issues with this one, please let me know what they are.

Yes PaPa,, you were indeed there when 'tha Geez' created Tha Geezer Club. From another who has been there since day one, I join all others in Wishing EACH AND EVERY ONE and their FAMILY'S and FRIENDS,, MERRY CHRISTMAS,, HAPPY, HEALTHY AND SAFE 2023. Eric,, I'll try 'ol friend but I fear the best of me left tha building a couple of years back,,, most likely they'll remain a memory never to be achieved again BUT I'm gonna enjoy each and every morning and eve we spend together each week irregardless of my spot on tha grid. 😎 😎😋
 
GTRace Ace, Luiz did let us know last Wednesday eve that he will be visiting family for Christmas weekend and will not be hosting this weekend. Since no one has posted,, some of we Geezers and friends will be online tomorrow morning - Christmas Eve. Family will not have arrived at Grandpa and Grandma's house at those hours so we'll log in and see if anyone else is there. We'll get a lobby going for a few hours and hang out.
